Just get one in the S25 lineup and you're good. The S26 lineup is not that different anyway. I got the S25U but I recommend the Plus version - the bluetooth-less pen is useless now. Waste of space.

Is that it? Why (how) did you even "reply"?
NOTHING on the impartial review
NOTHING on Samsung Soc restraint
NOTHING on your comments re Exynos 2600
You can't defend the nonsense posted in September 2025 nor the 133 characters debacle now.
A tie? So NOTHING on Nanoreview report. Only you would suggest your latest 116 characters (NO EVIDENCE) is supportive when it's TAUTOLOGY so again less persuasive than OP. Even without a Google search the url in my comment destroy your credibility completely. Gibberish only to you
Anonymous, 31 Mar 2026Oh yeah he makes good real life test videos.
Exynos always had worse battery life, 100% fac... moreNot to mention US and Canadian (S941U and S941W respectively) variants do not have definitions for band aggregation in Europe, where Techmo is located. This means modem doesn't have to work that hard in order to combine cellular bands for faster network
I have noticed that forcing just one band (in my case Band 3, 1800MHz) on my European S24 Ultra (S928B) made a huuuuge difference in terms of battery life and thermals. Enough to be felt in day to day use
If US and CA variants supported band aggregation, the difference between Snapdragon and Exynos probably would have been negligible. Though taking into consideration disappointingly bad single-core performance
GSMarena test also showed that S26+ with Exynos has shorter call time than S26 Ultra or even S25+, which had European variant (S946B) with support for band aggregation. Difference of 5 or 6 hours is not insignificant. Samsung really should step up their modem efficiency. It's performance is great, as well as reception, especially with dual SIM. My Pixel 7 Pro has service where my S24 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro Max does not

Omg..
This is a complete disaster!
Somehow turned out the worst exynos chip ever!
At this point, I think it must be the AMD gpu, because everything else should on paper be very efficient. It just doesn't make any sense
So they went for power, Samsung at last beat SD chips in performance and then forgot that they had to achieve this with efficiency π€£ well, maybe next year π
I Just Read, 01 Apr 2026Who would've thought? This is what happens all the time, Exynos is amazing on paper, but ... moreI'm not sure what's worse, the efficiency of Exynos chipsets, or the gibberish filled essay you just wrote. Anyways, let's make that a tie.
I'm guessing the test was done in the US? Probably with the US phone on 5G B71 and the European phone struggling on some 4G network?
Despite at the time s26 exynos dies when s26 snapdragon still have 17% and then android addict switch to wifi, i still feel cheated cause exynos one have smaller node, 2 extra cpu core and later instruction set architecture than snapdragon kot. Damn it, no more samsung for me after s26 ultra, sorry not sorry π
Who would've thought? This is what happens all the time, Exynos is amazing on paper, but in reality it's still the same mediocre chipset. Waste of a 2nm process'π±
Just 133 characters this texter cannot string a coherent comment that doesn't disguise his extreme antipathy and bias, considering we've been here before.
So I'm not going to lie or try to defend Samsung (the result is what it maybe isn't) albeit say counterintuitive the video is one snapshot
Why I prefer & address Jiyen235 skepticism, well he has been consistent in his comments throughout and it's essentially which led me to comment.
'2:Exynos is unoptimized overall but the modem is decent, allowing it to be ok in data test'
#1 Nanoreview has Exynos on par with Snapdragon in battery https://nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/samsung-galaxy-s26-snapdragon-vs-samsung-galaxy-s26-exynos
#2 The S25 (all S25's are Snapdragon) battery increased from 4000 mAh to 4300 mAh, 7.5 % Active Use Hours from 13.09 to 15.20
#3 Segue. on 16/02/2026 this article was published "Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S26 Ultra smashes Exynos-powered S26 in single-core performance" which is as to be expected. Only one person on this planet puts this down to a failure of Samsung. Common sense. hypothetically what would have happened [in the comments Section if IF the 2nm Exynos trounced the 3nm Snapdragon] seriously the S26's had better benchmarks than the Ultra's?
#4. Seg This connects everything
In September 2025 spurious information was being posted that seem to align with repeated sms still being made, Somehow the 3nm Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 is way better than Exynos 2600 ...I replied then in part wity
"Samsung with a 2nm Exynos 2600 need NOT GO FOR THE OPTIMAL INCREASE NOW but an increase that would easily place it AHEAD of what it predicts Qualcomm 2nd Oryon 3nm Soc and Mediatek" here https://www.gsmarena.com/report_exynos_2600_will_be_used_in_the_galaxy_s26_ultra_mass_production_starts_this_month-news-69520
This explanation is opposite of the opportunistic sms above
Two battery test odds with each other YouTube?
Samsung's Exynos 2600 deliberate constraint
In September 2026 just 5 months away everyone catches up All are is 2nm processes
The Exynos 2700 will be in ACTIVE COMPETITION. we can again compare like with like.
Snapdragon 9 Elite Gen 1 sic [2nm]
MTK Dimensity 9600 [2nm]
Apple's [2nm]
And I write this intentionally. The predicted price hike from 3nm 2nm SoC will be significant! Samsung is in part semi insulated as it can in part supply itself. MediaTek can may also benefit Qualcomm 5 years ago lead appeared unassailable that has all but gone today
Those manufacturers not in long-term contract agreement with Qualcomm could source their SoC from Samsung instead π± of Qualcomm idk. It's really easy to discredit those who ACCENTUATE THE NEGATIVE and fail to share facts so easily researched.

fren, 31 Mar 2026samsung should just close down its chipset division coz nobody wants exynos. also by now itοΏ½... moreNo, they should not close it as we need to have SOCs created from different manufactures. What they need to do is to implement their Exynos solutions ONLY in A series and not in S series, at least until they arrive at the level that Exynos is on pair with SD (I don't think that it is even possible). The story here is that they want to squeeze out as much as possible to gain more profit, that's why they are using it in S series, as they can take more money on Exynos S versions compare to SD version.

Filipedlr, 31 Mar 2026Bullshit, I'm using S26+ and exynos 2600 is really good. 7h+ SOT, really good performance... more7hr SOT, unfortunately isn't considered great anymore as it was considered a few years back.
This is because competing phones are providing 11hr and above SOT.

to be able to brag at benchmarks all Android high end devices throttle to 50% after a while , that's what you get for chasing paper spec devices.
Android Addicts, 31 Mar 2026It was indeed a retail unit I bought myself from Samsung.com Thank you for your S26 Exynos 2600 vs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Battery Drain Test, we're looking forward to more on this (but won't shoot the messenger) π€£
I mean, I dont wanna defend Exynos but this is very unlikely to be true. First of all it is literally unbeliveable to me that noone mentions that the exy version of the phone on the vid doesnt have buttons ?! Exynos since 2400 Chip is actually very nice. My wife and me have been using it since 2 years and it literally never disappointed. Iam using an S24 Ultra now with SD chip and it gets just as hot as my regular s24 sometimes.
Very unlikely that they invested this amount of money for this chip and at the end there is 2 hours sot time difference to SD model. I am just trying to have common sense here.
Spencer, 31 Mar 2026TSMC moved to usa especially for apple and google ... for long term project with themGoogle ain't TSMC's big customer, AMD, Nvidia are. Heck, even Intel is one since they're using TSMC for desktop GPU and laptop SoCs manufacturing.
