HMD is chaalu (Hindi word, means sly) when it comes to pricing for these specs in the HMD Crest series, which may fail — I know that. The good part here in the UAE is that if this brand follows the same pricing strategy, there’s a chance of no sales in the market, and the products might eventually be sold in the UAE at a cheaper price.
I am currently using the HMD Crest Max (309 AED ≈ 84 USD) and the HMD Skyline 12GB model (459 AED ≈ 125 USD). I am posting this tweet from my HMD Skyline.

HMD when are you launching Lord Chaos handset. please upgrade it to snapdragon 8 elite series with 16gb of ram. Also please let this device support android open source project so that people can install their own OS system in the future.

I can't figure out what they are doing and that makes their slow motion car crash interesting to observe. They would do themselves a service to try some experimenting like Unihertz or Clicks, Ikko, etc to generate some interest. These current phones they release are always overpriced for the hardware, I don't understand them at all.
In an ocean of 6.7in glass sandwich phones, theirs can't be selling that well to begin with, why not try something else? They have nothing to lose by trying (even a crowdfunded!) 5.0 - 5.5 inch display compact phone.

Is this phone even real? The account who posts these isn't really all that reliable, he's posted about the Crest² series before but with a different design, the renders seem a bit AI-like? (which sounds like something HMD would do at this point but still, they look a bit Off)
Anyways how long before HMD actually launches a new phone and it looks like a TEMU Samsung/Apple because they don't have designers anymore ijbol

I burned my finger for buying HMD 7.2. It had display ghosting issue day one, over-processed low resolution image output from its camera, bugged VoWiFI etc and my update to its last Android version 11 caused it to loose charging support. In order to charge I had to restart or switch off the phone which I forgot now. HMD service center said they can't revert software and told me to wait for next software update. I waited for a bug fix update for a month or two nothing came by then. Hence had to buy a new phone.The worst phone I ever bought since I started using Android smartphones from 2012.

It will launch with an outdated Android 15 out of the box with NO OS upgrade and just two years of quarterly security updates.

HMD have nothing and even 6000mAh is already boring part to know about the phone. It's not even impressive size. 2-3 years ago already the bottom end best selling point was 6000mAh battery
