-, 20 Mar 2026Some accessory makers already sell screen protectors for A27 and if their renders are correct ... moreApparently the A27 will have same Exynos 1380 which doesn't make any sense because the A18 is supposed to have exynos 1380 so this just makes samsung's midrange phones even worse. The least Samsung could do is use an upgraded 4nm version of Exynos 1380 which could be called Exynos 1430 or something like that.

Samsung is DEAD in the midrange .... Only the ultras have something to offer, and those are dying slowly due to lack of any meaningful innovation. Clearly, Samsung is more interested in making and selling chips, memory, displays etc.
It was after I moved to Xiaomi I realised what a disaster Samsung has been in recent years.

Look at the bezel size of A37. and it's 2026 (not 2016).
Samsung has no advantage over Xiaomi period.

The A27 is not coming any time soon though, wouldn't be surprised if Samsung barely bothers with selling it globally

Dzong, 20 Mar 2026Wow that bezel on the A57 is thin. Still, not competitive enough with those batteries It's already on display at some stores in Thailand. The bezel in real life is not actually as thin as this image!

now that is thin bezel, thanks to TCL. Will the A37 now have high PWM and HDR10 support. Chinese phone screens were this good like 4 years ago and they are almost matching them now.
The ugly A27 is going to have a notch and thick chin again it seems.
