Samsung keeps Exynos alive to keep some of its own engineers employed. Also, Samsung believes it can have its own chips similar to Apple.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2026still no microsd slot ?Doesn't matter if it has it or not. You don't intend to buy one anyway.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2026𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗼𝗹𝗱 Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC ?!!Please kindly re-read the article and pay attention to the text in capital letters: "(...) since the last time we saw a Galaxy M4x-series phone WAS BACK IN 2023 (...) opting for the THEN three-year-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC (...) "
I hope it is now clear.
It would be nice if they position the size of the S26 FE between the S26 and the S26 Plus.
There are very few upper midrange devices that are compact. It would make a great competitor to the iPhone 17e and the Pixel 10a.
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2026Imagine how much of a nothingburger the S26FE will be. I predict S25 FE copy-paste with new chipset for $699 just to make you grab S26 or Plus variant.
