You guys realize we already passed the line into authoritarian governments and companies? But in an insane level. USA and it's companies in this year and last year are doing some crazy stuff. They used to do this behind the curtains but now they don't care no more. We are already into authoritarian territory to say the very least. Things are getting pretty dark

    Just use Chinese apps if you want privacy. Chinese apps are under scrutiny all the time so they pay more attention to user privacy

          We all know that Instagram users will not leave the platform over this. Most users doesn't read the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Help Section or anything similar. Meta, like most corporations, knows this and uses it to harvest as much data (and/for profit) as possible.
