Maybe meaning Vivo X300 Ultra will virtually be like a 8 speakers audio. Great, but still surprising how no one ever sees Vivo X300 Ultra's real back regardless so much about its inside. Come on! Vivo! Give X300 Ultra its own unique color like X200 Ultra's dark red! Please?

Certainly worse than the Honor magic 8 pro or Poco F8 ultra or old Xiaomi phones like the Xiaomi 10s. It doesn't even use symmetrical speakers with a weaker earpiece one on top

            I love chinese brands.
They offer WAV in voice recording apps.
            Samsung does not.

Really hope chinese brands overtake Samsung.

CamoGeko-XDA, 14 Mar 2026The question is will it beat the Poco F8 Ultra?? That is the speaker king on Android phones!! I'd doubt it. The Chinese ultra phones never have the very best speakers and usually aren't even as good hardware wise as some performance type flagships. Vivo has typically probably been the worst of the Chinese brands for speakers though so this will likely be a big improvement on the x200 ultra but it won't be the best. The cameras take up too much space so they have to compromise in other areas in the ultras. Look at the Xiaomi 17 ultra also. Its speakers aren't as good as the Poco F8 Ultra. The Honor magic 8 pro for reference has dual 8cc speakers so if the top and bottom are symettrical it will have similar speaker hardware to the Honor magic 8 pro. That's about as good as it gets on a ultra phone though (the Magic 8 pro's speakers are larger than the ones on the Poco F8 ultra but the Poco has the extra bass boost one on the back)

If you don't have an Asus ROG Phone, a Sony Xperia, the Poco F8 Ultra, or a more recent Honor midrange or flagship phone, like the Honor Win or Honor Magic8 RSR, then I would take that statement with a grain of salt.

This will be awesome if true. While I truly loved my X200 Ultra, the speakers were pathetic and failed in performance when compared with my S25 Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro XL. I can’t wait for the X300 Ultra Global with eSIM to finally give up on Samsung for good.

But it didn’t really catch on with consumers, so they eventually shifted their focus to cameras, which is basically where they are now.

Good for them. It's 2026, speakers are not exactly rocket science and there's no excuse not to have good (For a smartphone) speakers even on mid-rangers. While other brands like Oneplus and especially Realme don't have decent enough speakers on any model. They should definitely take note.
