Anonymous, 11 hours agoNevermind, it's the same thing that I am doing with termux currently.Xodos does not need root and has some drivers, software preinstalled or easy to download and install.
Good if you are happy with Termux!

I'm pretty sure Samsung would extend it to all DeX-compatible phones that will get OneUI 8.5. Also, Samsung used to dib on Linux before with Linux on DeX.

erotavlas, 11 hours agofor what purpose though? what is the use case? You could, for instance, install node.js and run a lightweight node server for whatever purpose.
It's like having powershell or command prompt on your phone.

The Nokia N900 had this right out of the box. Direct access to the Linux terminal straight from the apps menu.

That's nothing. What would matter and make a lot of people happy would be to allow to unlock the bootloader and install whatever they want or uninstall whatever they want.

Wel ye syou are right i dont care at all as long as Sasung is going to sell overpriced midrangers and entry level devices with mediocre chippsets for flagship price there is nothing which could tell e buying a samsung is a good choice.
Motorola Signature better deal, many else Motorolas or other chinese phones and brands are far better chocie too.

Anonymous, 14 hours agoHow long before they abandon it like Linux on Dex?It's android feature and available with pixel for years, but socmaker like Qualcomm blocked it, but it seems they allow it. Has nothing to do with Samsung.
