Apple and Samesung leading yes but the question is how long ? If Apple and Samesung keep going like this with almost no upgrades their fan base will crumble and that means their sells will break in ! And the number of people who are leaving the Apple and Samesung bubble every year will grow more and more 🤷 As example my wife is the generic user Samesung love the most, she just love Samesung and is not bothered to get the same again and again over the years 😂 But i doubt that the most users are like this 😅

Real world sales don’t show that, Pro iPhones and S Ultra are leading the premium phone market, not the superior bulky cameras-phone. That’s the reality, wake-up, stop dreaming.

So if you say you dont need good camera you clearly dont need a flagship 🤷 And as i said if you put good camera tech in a phone the bump CAN NOT be avoided. For now its impossible to put cam tech like Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo have in a body of a S25U. If you want to make the bump not visible the whole phone must be 13-15mm thick and then you have a real brick ....

Compare that to the best camera phone I had the Vivo X200 Ultra 1.6cm thick camera bump taking up half the phone.
Flagship should also mean refinement, not carrying around an impractical brick just to take two photos of your dog and cat a week.
Again, sales number prove it, no niche X200U/Magic 8 Pro to be found… but you can try to prove me wrong, that everyone wants a bulky phone with the best cameras, that no one wants iPhones/S Ultra with weak cameras.

Atleast face id is useful but a front camera, not so much
If they want to improve cameras then they should look on the back where it's been pretty stale for years

Small battery and Samsung obsession with skinny phone design. And still we're stuck with their poor image processing after all these years still hasn't improved much. And this talk of if you want a big camera go buy a Fuji. Well, no because I like the convenience of having a smashing camera built into my phone. Chinese flagships aren't that bulky if I remember right many Samsung Ultra phones have a massive display and horrible ergonomics. Very uncomfortable to hold. It gets so boring and monotonous and childish the way people try and argue and score points over who makes best phones. Who cares?? Just go buy your phone and enjoy it stop this immature behavior and arguing over phones. There's more to life

The S Ultra cameras still match the iPhone Pro cameras (not the 10MP 3x tho) while offering more even flagship value: better anti-glare, S Pen, dynamic privacy screen, complete ecosystem/support/availability and good software (DeX, Customizations, Ai) that isn't just a soulless iOS clone.
Chinese Ultra flagships definitely give bigger batteries and better cameras, but they’re just bulky bricks that no one actually wants and that doesn’t give as many features as S Ultra. Global smartphone sales prove it.
A real flagship is the whole package, not just a massive camera bump.

Your reasoning is ridiculous: the iPhone's notch is big and can't get any smaller righy now (Face ID). They fited a bigger selfie camera in there (iPhone 17), and no one would notice changes in hole size — it's already big island. Samsung, however, made the hole as small as possible — but to improve the camera, they'd need a larger sensor and a wider lens, which would make the hole even larger.... Do you want camera improvements or not?

You obviously bought a Samsung because you want to use a phone for which you paid an ultra price for flagship killer specifications, which specializes in heavy throttling and with an overclocked processor that shows worse results under load than the standard version due to the mediocre cooling of the phone, 8-bit color on the display and no Dolby Vision support but with Green line "support", you enjoy halo, banana and mura effects, cameras with the quality of phones from 2020 with Samsung's trademark - shutter lag and blurry photos. And last but not least - BloatUI filled with Bixby-like nonsense.
