If realme wants to succeed then they need to release Neo 8 globally without any handicaps especially in EU at almost the same price +vat. It would be the best phone

The starting prices for midranges became so ridiculous :)
The price is on par with renewed or refurbished iPhone 15 pro or similar. And these midranges are so far from flagships 2 years old ...
There is literally zero incentive to buy midrangers at the starting price.
Top value for money are 2yo flagships.
Best experience for reasonable prices and resell options is 1yo flagship - renew and resell each year.
But the midrangers? They are much more difficult to resell with decent return.
Their specs do not hold well in the passing of time. There are a lot of compromises that the buyes should search by themselves or forced to live with them when they later appear.
If one must go for a midranger - buy it around one year after launch. Should aim at around half the starting price.
(Which shows the insane value drop) can you imagine how much the Samsung A56 will cost on second hand market when A58 is live next year? It would be 2yo upper mid ranger on just 2 years and its resell value will be what? 20% of the starting price?
