Linux users have been using "root" since the 80s. Hackers use "root" to gain access into unauthorized systems of a billion dollar company. Ever heard of a rootkit?

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about, lol.

But *my* point was that there's no need to be so tribal anymore. The gap is getting narrower to justify a tribal mentality. It's merely just preference now.

The only thing this tells us is that there is no room for a Chinese brand like OnePlus.

Android is the clear winner because on some Android phones you can unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM. You can't do that on iphones now can you. That means Apple is the clear looser here.

Your viewpoints are quite outdated. No one even does the old Android vs Apple debate anymore. Everyone knows that all phones are equally good nowadays. In fact, I like both, and hate both.

Android used to be good, but now I'm ambivalent towards it. iOS used to be restrictive, but now it's becoming more like Android. The lines are blurring, that's the reality. Get with the times, boy.

As much as I and we have hated on OnePlus over the years, I am still somewhat glad of their existence. They did in fact release a few great flagship killers over the past year.

All Chinese brands are in trouble because their prices are too high.
                                IPhone 17 900€, Vivo x300 1000€, OnePlus 15 1100€.
The iPhone doesn't worth 900€ and Vivo or OnePlus even less.
They went for higher tech and prices but physical support is a joke for Vivo or Oneplus and OS support is also less even though they increased the support period.
All Chinese brands should produce their top model and sell it worldwide for 600€, don't add too much stuff because your device doesn't worth 1000€, and if you sell it for 0 profit its even worse.
I don't like ios, I like android but the joke about people being dumb for buying expensive iPhone it starts to fit more and more Android users.
