İ sold my s24 ultra and now using the honor magic 8 pro also own Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (2026 version)but cant use the 24bit version without Samsung S ultra phones, can earfun Air 4 pro plus sound better bu listening synthpop, newwave, darkwave, heavy metal and vocal trance.... Can that make me happy listenin manowar, May be w.a.s.p-crimson idol, camouflage -that smiling face, depeche mode-agent orange, dj quicksilver.....and so far I wonder
I got this 1.5 months ago. It connects to my Xiaomi 14 through aptX Lossless automatically without the app. Still, the app is useful for controls, ANC Customisations, firmware updates, etc. I like it better than my previous OnePlus Buds 3 with LHDC 5.0 as when I increased the bitrate in that through developer settings, the sound would start crackling. Guess it was not that powerful. While with this on aptX Lossless, the sound stays perfect at the highest bitrates.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2026My cheap Redmi have LDAC codecSomeone's Poco M6 5G has LHDC V5.0 as well.
it has everything a earbuds needs, but noise cancellation is just average

Nigerian Prince, 19 Jan 2026Wired is good when you have all your music stored in wav/flac. Otherwise bt is good enough. ... moreLDAC consumes more power for both the earbud and the phone. yes the sound quality is good... at what cost? if you don't have a flagship phone then LDAC would be useless because prone to occassional dropouts.
AntiPlannedObsolesce, 18 Jan 2026What is up with this whole earbud craze? Do people really enjoy such mediocre sound and feelin... moreThey are very comfortable and sound really good. Unless you have some multi thousand dollar in ear monitors you can't complain about sound. If you have cheap wired earphones they can't sound better.
AntiPlannedObsolesce, 18 Jan 2026What is up with this whole earbud craze? Do people really enjoy such mediocre sound and feelin... moreStuffed Ears? Mediocre Sound? Why are you HERE in the first place?
AnonD-1142275, 18 Jan 2026Wired, annoying? More annoying is mediocre sound of any bt headset compared to wired headphones.Wired is good when you have all your music stored in wav/flac. Otherwise bt is good enough.
However ldac's maximum bitrate is 990 kbps (you can enable it from the developers menu) and it's really good for any kind of music
AntiPlannedObsolesce, 18 Jan 2026What is up with this whole earbud craze? Do people really enjoy such mediocre sound and feelin... moreYou can have regular headphones for sound quality and tws earphones for outdoor use (especially in loud places), but I agree that small earphones can't provide the best sound. Tried many of them

AntiPlannedObsolesce, 18 Jan 2026What is up with this whole earbud craze? Do people really enjoy such mediocre sound and feelin... moreMy reason to buy a good pair of earbuds or a neckband is Noise Cancellation (I don't listen to music at all). Normally I don't need them, but I had back-to-back exams and assignments in the last 2/3 weeks. I could really make use of some silence during those times Though I don't think it'd make a whole world of difference most of the time, but still, sometimes I just need it, specially when time is of the essence and my energy isn't unlimited.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2026No you aren't. Unless you are an audiophile. For casual everyday listening all codecs are... moreSBC is only good on basic car stereos and cheap speakers though. AAC is the least minimum but optional for full range sound. SBC experienced poor low frequency response. you'll hear a whine in bass.
AnonD-1043101, 19 Jan 2026if you don't own a flagship phone.. you are so cooked. SBC only 🤯🤯🤯My cheap Redmi have LDAC codec

Dometalican, 18 Jan 2026These look way too much like my Soundpeats...even to the case... Many earbuds have similar designs. And that's ok. All you need are great sound and strong noise canceling coupled by long battery life. And comfort of course.
AnonD-1142275, 18 Jan 2026Wired, annoying? More annoying is mediocre sound of any bt headset compared to wired headphones. It is when that wire snags on to someone else or something when taking public transit, and it's also a dead giveaway for criminals that you have a smartphone because of the very visible wire running from your ears to your pocket or bag.
Also, you need to spend big money to have usable noise cancellation (really, just noise isolation, unless you find a rare pair of wired earbuds that DO have ANC) or at the very least, significantly improved audio quality through pricey IEMs...
