DarlingYext, 08 Jan 2026"Outside of tech forums, most people only know Samsung and Apple because they’re the only... more"but otherwise there are much better phones to choose from, and it's not that hard to order one (from?) online" 😆
"So people should support a company that is making a huge amount of profit on them, instead of buying better products from other brands that might be making less profit on people?🤣

Utter nonsense nowhere on this planet can you provide a source for the drivel in 4 four post so far already. This appears to be your SOP offer Al Ternative phone models, in addition to Chinese Flagships we have Online and Better Brands & Better Products.

Did you not understand the article title (truncated?)
Samsung posts Q4 earnings guidance: sales up, operating profit way up there stratospheric

"If you, for whatever reason are in favor of a huge conglomerate making tons of profit on you, then by all means go for one of Samsung's incredibly overpriced phones with hardware from 4 years ago...[absolutely dream weird follows] However for those of us that prefer better products over getting ripped of by a gigantic company, there are plenty of better brands to choose from"😲 x😱^♾️

Your Samsung hating credentials are on display as is hypocrisy.
You did in late 2025 buy an iPhone Air from not Better Brands, Apple!

Ss, 09 Jan 2026This is mostly about profit from their ram prices gouging, as for the phone some countries did... moreYou didn't see Counterpoints recent chart showing the Galaxy S Series 12 Month Sales Trend after Launch. When Android manufacturers release their phones, sales are highest during the 1st 3-4 months. Then it slows. After 9 months, the S Series sales have bounced back breaking that trend. Something its predecessors have not done.

Simply put, the S25's sales spiked almost to launch levels during the 4th quarter, after its competitors released their phones.

Since it's ... moreI dont think so cause they sell hardware and not software. the mastermind of making this trend is actually Nvidia since their RTX model released then followed by google, they make AI more popular. which also make the trend bigger and bigger and other company follow with some are partnership of google.

Ss, 09 Jan 2026This is mostly about profit from their ram prices gouging, as for the phone some countries did... moreYou guys read details like I read emails from my co-workers. The article clearly states this was before the memory shortage.

You also didn't see Counterpoints chart showing the S Series 12 month sales trend after launch. Usually Android flagships sales spike 3-4 months following the launch, then it slows down. The S25 has broken that trend to accomplish something never done by its predecessors or competitors. Its sales have actually rebounded after 9 months.

This isn't calculus. If these other companies continue relying on marketing from social media influencers and chat forums, they will never challenge Samsung's dominance. They need to push their marketing like they push those specs.

There is no damage on the case, or on the phone.

                Everything is 4-5 years late.

Google is like the Apple of the Android world.
Nails a few things but too many compromises for me to consider them as a daily driver.

Chinese smartphone manufacturers have a very difficult task: that is, to appeal to those people, and it’s not by blatantly copying iPhone/iOS that will help them (quite the opposite, actually).

I've had one on my Pixel 6 Pro for six months, and while it's a bit scratched, it's still as clear as the day I bought it. And look, I'm not criticizing Chinese manufacturers. I gave up on that nonsense about fighting over brands a long time ago. But people are going overboard with the comments here. We have to accept reality as it is: Apple and Samsung, for better or worse, are the kings of the mobile industry worldwide. It's a reality that bothers some people, but not so much others. I don't care as long as the phone I have works as I expect.

I’ve overpaid for a Nillkin one, much higher quality, with great camera bump protection and a magnet inside.
