Dave Cheese, 24 Apr 2026Is Ikea 45 watt USB-C charger worth a mention? £10 in UK It supports PPS, so a decent choice for the price. I is capped at 45W only though, so for a modern phone or laptop that will not be enough to charge at "max speed".

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2026Choosing a phone that come with a charger should do the trickThere are literally zero known brands in Europe that ship a charger with a phone. So no that does not solve the issue, unless you want to skip owning a phone.

Dave Cheese, 24 Apr 2026Is Ikea 45 watt USB-C charger worth a mention? £10 in UK To my experience, any charger that feels
          - sturdy
          - heavy
Should do the trick... Of course not the ultimate quality check, but so far works for me... Oh and then there are also reviews of course

I used to have Qilive (Auchan) USB-C charger and it worked better than Baseus one which heated noticeably more... We have a plenty of them around the family now, none has failed yet. To my experience UGREEN is also a very good (and actual) brand of accessories, I use their 65W travel charger nowadays

the most frustating fact is the manufactures dont say whether the charger charges two or more devices w/o temporary disconnected or yay, in other words, dedicated ports. the only manufacture that let charge at same time w/o disconnected is anker. how about the others? most of them, yeah. aukey, uneed, ugreen, vention, acmic, etc.

The move to "no charger in the box" was just another way they found to make a little more profit, period. It's their job, to find more ways to squeeze more money.

Writer what about home charger like what Xiaomi ships with hmm ? I have a Poco M6 Pro that came with 67W charger and 6A charging cable. In just over half of an hour I can full charge my cell. USB- A to C cable with an extra pin to trigger the fast charging. 😉

It's mind boggling that most large phone manufactures don't include a matching power adapter, only a cheap cable. We have plenty of cables but could extra an extra charger (one for home, work, and a spare). 3 to 5 year old chargers aren't powerful enough for fast charging of newer phones. When spending $500-$1000 for a new phone, it's just crazy that they are skimping on a $5 adapter (that's their wholesale cost) in the name of saving the environment which is a bunch of BS. Companies are just looking at their bottom line and copying silly Apple crap.

If you live in a place with IKEA and manage with a 45W charger, the IKEA SJÖSS is likely the best bang for the buck you can get.
