Moon, 22 Oct 2025In addition, wearing gadgets close to your head is harmful to your health, and no company will... morewhat's the most harmful is the call I would say, but anyway, there are ways like to put wireless parts further away from head.
There are antennae used for aliens in movies, may be just for a fun, but it may be just perfect way.
Not saying we should have that kind of gadget straight away, but its not a bad idea to apply the same old thinking of using them, just bringing better design tho.
What kind of horror poster is that?

Foldable and smart glasses got the same problems: they are too pricy and they cannot bring hi end features. To make it short:
Smart Glasses:
1. to record hi quality 4K60 video and take 12/50mp stills is enough for the start,
2. they need a good battery endurance or battery neckband,
3. they need to adapt them to those wearing prescription glasses either by offering 2 versions or 1 version of smart device which allows to use any glasses with them.
Foldables:
1. they need to bring sensors, even better ones, than those in bar phone flagships either to existing design or to use camera centric design instead,
2. they need to make folds more affordable, since at this stage its more affordable to buy hi end bar phone with hi end tablet getting better performance from both than buying fold with worse specs(no matter some of its advantages),
3. they need to go back to basics of smart devices - adding new sensors and features, AI isnt what 'smart'' phone is all about.
Its like Samsung know that AI bubble will burst very soon and they need to show something fancy to investors to make them happy...
AlienKiss, 22 Oct 2025Thank you very much for the info! I'm gonna do some research on the Meta Meta Quest is definitely the thing that's made VR mainstream. A good quality headset that does wireless PCVR for about 300 bucks? It is hard to compete with. That said, I am definitely eyeing the Bigscreen VR, simply because it is so compact and still comes with exceptional resolution and field of view.

No one needs this AI garbage. To do so would require the establishment of a dictatorship.

There's also Bigscreen Beyond 2. I don't know if it's compatible with Android, but it's very small and lightweight. However it's pricey and you'll probably need to buy base stations for movement tracking.
I think Valve and Sony also make VR headsets. But I have no idea about them.
What is the best VR headset today? I'm thinking of getting one and I don't know which one to choose. Ideally I want it to be android compatible.
