What is the point of AI hype without any real benefit to most people from AI, apart from sweet marketing slogans and attempts by a few sick actors to convince humanity that it is stupid and needs AI? In a decade, those same sick actors will be assuring humanity of the need for brain implants using the same methodology, instead of stopping making humanity dumber and helping it develop naturally.

Not by choice, because it's on every phone now. Still not using it even if it is on my phone.

Nobody doing any real work uses AI. This fad is just used by school kids for their homework and some content creators. I dont consider people using AI to be doing any real work. Maybe AI will become useful someday but today just isn't that day. However remember that during the initial days, the internet was also useless and mostly driven by consumers of adult content.

All new mobile phones are equipped with so-called artificial intelligence. People don’t buy mobile phones just for artificial intelligence. They just change their phones normally, so this does not count as growth. This news is wrong

so? it's not like it was the main selling point of these phones.

I mean sure, of course AI capable chipset shipments will grow, because nearly all smartphone SoC is now "AI powered", so yes shipments will grow, but not because of AI.

                        Yup. And water is wet.
I mean, all smartphone manufacturers keep shoving AI this and AI that to our face whether we want it or not, then no doubt chips with AI sells like crazy.
