So basically we will pay more for removal of UDC and a big punch hole ( twice the size of that in S25 ultra ) along with removal of support for S-Pen on such an expansive screen like this where S-Pen usage matters the most from a functionality standpoint. And who is buying these phones because of which sales are increasing YoY? just for show-off ?

You clearly don't like it, why ... moreSamsung is forcing nobody to buy their phones, but they are forcing the market to go a certain way, and it's not good. The $2000 price tag is insane for a phone regardless of what it offers, but it's especially bad, when all this is, is a slightly more powerful and thinner Fold6 for more money, with no S Pen support, and the ultrawide and main cameras from the 2 year old S23 Ultra.

You clearly don't like it, why keep commenting? Other people like it and will buy it. Stick with the stuff you like and spend your money how you see fit. It's like making fun of people who buy expensive watches when they can easily buy a cheaper watch that does the exact same thing. Or expensive cars, or jewelry, etc. I am fully aware of the drawbacks this phone has but I will still enjoy the heck out of it because sometimes people just want to have something cool and fun, otherwise they would all just buy a 400-500$ midrange phone that does everything and call it a day

In Malaysia its cheaper lol... Z Fold 7 cost RM6969/ $1650 for the 256GB variant and the Z Flip 7 cost RM4769/ $1120 for the 512GB variant(256gb out of stock)..Meanwhile the FE cost RM3470/ $815 for the 256gb variant...

I personally wouldn't recommend these types of devices to anyone who is very conscious about their budget. I know that I lose a butt load of cash by purchasing it even at 1600. I also believe that I will stay with it for at least 3 years, I can't justify doing this every 2 years, especially when the prices seem to always go up after so many years of having this technology. It's a luxury item and it's for a certain demographic. I would actually recommend the Z Fold 6 now, it's price is currently at 1200$ which is a lot more acceptable for anyone willing to try a foldable

The Flip 7 might be the same MSRP but it's more expensive after trade-in. $500 after Flip 6 trade in.
I'm happy the outer screen is bigger and it will finally have Dex, but it is also bigger (except slightly on depth). So no way for $500.

It's been years and foldable phones are still super expensive :( Why can't they make foldable midrangers? Not flips, because flips have tiny screens, they're not really any better than regular phones.
