This is how Huawei should have created their 3-fold. It's how Samsung is going to launch it and Techno as well. Nothing I fancy but good for those who want/need such form factor. No fragile screen exposed to the outside. A good old external glass screen with the 3-folding inner (fragile) screen. You'll have to take some crevice, certainly where the fold is the thickest (which is the only disadvantage compared to the Huawei way of doing but that's an easy compromise. However, I don't like the thin, thinner, thinnest approach again. Could be bendy or causing stress on the hinges when in your (tight) trouser pocket.

I mean, there are people out there who thought companies were only taking care on their actual selling phones while they actually also experimenting on others, so in a way I think it's a positive thing.

XT had a problem that it doesn't have a second screen, the first one breaks and you throw the whole device in the trash. But with this you keep using it even if the tablet screen is screwed.

I don’t really know which is better, this or the Samsung G Fold design where the outer screen is in the middle?
It looks like it will rock less on a table due to the positioning of the cameras in the middle.
I want to know which of the two do case makers prefer or find more durable
