Techgg, 06 Jun 2025Yes it actually has a toogleRealme still is far more willing to throttle than others. This is the default state, just like in other phones, for example like in the Oneplus/Oppo. All I'm saying is, a phone should have 4 states.
1.) Performance mode, like letting the phone get super hot and letting it go super fast, i think Oneplus has done a decent job on it.
2.) Balanced mode, something that gives you a balance of both power and speed, something Oneplus and Oppo have mastered.
3.) Balanced power saver mode, something like what Realme is doing here, somewhat heavy throttling but still not as bad as actually using a power saver mode.
4.) Power saver mode, lowering chip clock speeds and being hyper aggressive and stuff.
All i'm saying is that i wish phones had toggles for all this but it's nearly always only a 2-5% difference.

All hail the king 👑
The 7T is not reviewed yet. With an 8 series chipset it would most likely last longer!

Is the talktime measured in Whatsapp etc? Because no one really talks over the cellular anymore so that metric is useless.

I buy'd this phone because of the battery and a versatile camera system. And it's awesome when i got it!
Really impressive showing by GT7. Beat the previous best by quite a considerable margin. I believe it got a Guinness Book record for 24Hr continuous video playback. Glad to see it being verified independently.
That said, in my view, the higher battery endurance does have a diminishing utility at higher levels. For example, if I am making a purchase decision, the difference between 12hrs and 15hrs would be much more relevant as compared to a difference between 18hrs and 21hrs.
For me, a phone that can take me through a typical day with 55-60% of battery usage is ideal, since I would be able to manage a typical day with 20-80% charging cycles (and manage without needing a top-up even on most heavy use days). Even when considering battery degradation, 3 years down the line, it will likely accumulate 600-800 cycles, leading to around 10-15% battery degradation, and I will still be able to manage a typical day with 85-15% cycles. Therefore, any additional endurance above this cutoff will have limited utility for me (and in fact after a point would be negative utility due to extra weight that I needn't have carried around but have to carry around), and other considerations such as camera quality, lack of bloatware etc would be much more important.
In that context, this phone IMO is a very appealing proposition for people with heavy usage (6hr+ SOT per day), but for light to moderate usage, there could be other better options.
Still in Market of buying a New phone! Battery life Abd fast charging impirtant for me. Thinking of this gt7 or maybe Chinese version. Has even bigger Battery. Or.... The vivo x200 pro or ultra. Just too much Choice. In doubt.
I'm a samsung user and I just want to say that the amount of mAh is irrelevant if you can get enough screen-on-hours.
I am however impressed with how they've managed to keep the weight of this down. It kind of seems impossibly low for the battery capacity. Lithium cobalt has an energy density ceiling that's been insanely difficult to break (at ~350Wh/kg)
Iqoo neo 10 and 10r testing is pending
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2025its not on mobile data , they need to include mobile dataThe reason they don't use mobile data is data strength is not consistent. So you wouldn't get accurately comparable results. Depends on the network and mobile operator network rather than the phone..
J.M.A, 01 Jun 2025You can finally used up to 2 days or 3 days without charging. Not at all gsm battery test are all bulshit , all others websites say you will not last one day and half day with this phone
