Will never buy any smartphones from sony got the very first device and only 1! Year OS update and the fingerprint was broken after OS undated, I will keep using trusted Samsung 7 years OS update

Either way, this is a stupidly expensive phone, it should be a better screen regardless.

But, I would debate with you. I currently own the LG G8x, which stands as the world's best audiophone of all times, or roughly around. The quality of audio is unmatched, and now with Google shifting it's focus to deliberately destory music experience on Androids, it seems this title will be held by G8x for a long, long time.
Sony is trying to provide a quality standard, it's not just about 3.5mm jack in a flagship. The experience is of quality. Maybe they didn't polish the UI enough, even if they did, someone would find it subjectively bad anyhow.

Telephoto can't compete Zeiss Vivo X 200 / x 200 ultra.as Sony mirroless user I'm would glad if all phone have same level quality with it telephoto & the prize of it seem ridiculous..normal people buy new phone minimum after 2,3 year. I think Sony can produce mid range phone every year and make flagship with gap every 2,3 year with new tech. I'm looking to wh1000 xm6 to upgrade from xm4 because I watch movie sometime and can't have Dolby sound with it.and maybe back to best wire headphone to feel the audio from it new 3.5 audio jack. While Xperia done better for audio when watching movie use it speaker.( I wat see reviews from audiophile first) I think This phone really make for content creators ( video first.) personally I do sometimes wildlife photography/ videography and hope the Bluetooth connection from phone and camera or Oder else be upgraded for more than 10 feet..50 to 100 feet maybe.and last for dynamic vibration it need to be more upgrade to be more immersive ,maybe put more vibrater motor to feel right when sound come from left it must vibrate at left Not from the middle ..and catch up wise with wind noise ,foot step,gun shooting. Etc And that what immersive is.broken English here & hope it deliver to Xperia department.

When unlocking bootloader ... moreYou co.olain about naming g catastrophe yet you understand NOTHING about brands!
1. Sony has a slew of products and brand names that span over 40 years!
2. Of which Xperiea is an ESTABLISHED global brand that's over 25yrs old and they've ling already exhausted various names, PSP, arc, Xperia 1 2 etc so keeping it simply and using the Mark naming convention bestows and evokes luxury such as Mark 3 or Mark VII of the car realm.
3. Establishing a new product name and convention.

The problem in that there isn't a good reason to buy this phone. Want the best cameras money can buy? You get a Xiaomi 15 ultra, find x8 pro or x200 pro. Want the best battery? Any of those or the OnePlus 13. Want good software? iPhone has iOS, pixel has stock android, Samsung has one UI. What is the selling point of Sony? A headphone jack and sd slot for €1500? They have to come up with something better than that.

It literally looks good but I will always consider buying apple and Samsung first

Bodojoe, 26 May 2025Better than camera bump Chinese phones with poor sound. Mu Oppo Find X8 Pro camera bump isn't noticeable. I can't feel it at all. And the sound is fantastic - better than you think. By the way, made in China Oppo's X8 Pro brilliant scree supports Dolby Vision and Xperia doesn't! Poor, poor Sony. No money for Dolby Vision.
