Xiaomi phones with larger battery still have lower endurance. Many are even shorter than 4k screen sony.

Ofc Chi fi is vastly superior in terms of value now but you must also agree that Sony just did things earlier man. I own a Moondrop Aria and dont really see myself going for any more expensive IEM, i'd rather go buy an open back headphone but i dont have the room for that either so rip lol
And yeah, their wireless headphones are excellent choices.
Also im 100% with you on this as well, their mobile division is entirely incompetent. They're trying to reach the enthusiast market but wont put larger sensors cus they want a thin profile, why would an enthusiast use a thin, BAD phone instead of a thick, GOOD phone? It boggles my mind how someone can call himself an enthusiast after using a Sony phone. It's only for people who are pretentious, nothing more. The sensors aren't big enough for the extra professional features to be useful and the default photo mode isn't that great anymore either due to the shift in processing that started with the 1 VI
The speakers are front firing and nice but Xiaomi's tuning and distortion handling is still unmatched, Xiaomi does all that with a phone that charges faster, has a larger battery and whose cameras are nearly double in size with the 15 Ultra. Absolutely pathetic from Sony.
I respect the front facing speakers, the top and bottom symmetrical bezels, the somewhat small footprint, the thinness, the headphone jack and most importantly the microsd card slot. But does it all matter when the phone performs like a Pixel 9 Pro XL, due to the completely insufficient cooling, and whose cameras are midranger level? Seriously, Sony's philosophy is completely contradictory and just does not make any sense whatsoever. At least Huawei has cutting edge tech and great processing, albeit not THE BEST, they have SOMETHING. Sony just has nothing. You dont buy a phone because of nice-to-haves/bonuses, you buy a phone because it has bonuses ON TOP OF a nice base. Sony fanboys dont understand it or dont want to understand it.
If Sony made an MFT lens phone with variable aperture alongside a 1/2" 3x zoom sensor and had a chroma camera or something, then i'd be interested. If they also implemented a decent cooling solution, akin to Oneplus or Oppo, i'd be ready to buy it instantly. But they're doing nothing. Not the best display, battery, speakers, cameras, phone profile, nothing. Not even mediocre, just bad.

All the updates, including longer support for patches, sounds good to me! Many complain about prices and while it's true that they are more than the average... all flagships are overpriced IMO. Hope they offer the purple one in the US. WISH, yes I wish they would please bring back the highly regarded notification LED! Sony, are you listening?

- 2.1 times larger ultra-wide camera
- 1/2-inch periscope camera
- All lenses are exmort t
- 10% more sound pressure in the low and mid ranges on the speakers
- Higher peak brightness than 1vi
- 4th and 6th year updates compared to 3rd and 4th year updates
- Walkman implementation, although no mention of the hardware

Somebody tell me a good small mp3 player please. Like compact one that isn't powered by android and isn't like a phone. Even one without any screen. Only wired earphones are fine as well as only 8gb of storage or no storage but micro sd card support. If it has an equalizer great then. Be it sony or sandisk or others. Reply me. Thanks.

Promo materials leaked. Looks like the 16mm camera is 1/1.6" exmor T ( maybe variant of iphone 15/16 main cam). Image shows sensor almost same size of primary camera.

I was a Sony user until the Xperia XZ. Since they've released XZ1, I gave up on Sony mobile phones. The problem with them is that they're confused about their strategy (I doubt if they have one), sometimes they remove an app or feature from their new phone, and after a while, they return it with a new models!

They set the standard, everything was made according to those standards and guess what, Sony STILL owns a metric TON of labels. I feel like they'd nudge their artists a little bit towards headphones and stuff tuned to what Sony makes. Good business.

I have ex1000 and i have a huge iem collection. I've been always fan of Japanese companies' products but again it's too much.
For ex. Ier-z1r, stopped production already, how many years have been? And still at least 800-1000$ range in second hand market with a proprietary cable. I've always kept am eye on ex1000 since the beginning of the hobby. I have them now. Unique? Yes. Sound? Not extraordinary with a unbearable peak around 6khz. I don't even mention the Frankenstein looking wearing style. 16mm lcp driver used to be unique back then but now. Simgot ea1000 easily reaches the same potential with much lower price. I have ibasso 3t-154 with 15.4mm driver, again very good tuning amd performance.
Imho, only tws division doing fine packing all the features with a good Sony house tuning. Happy to use my xm5. Perfect during the flight.
Sony suffers through the decision making, ridiculous conservative approaches, marketing strategies. Look at the ad lol. Doesn't seem professional to me. Not nowadays. It'd work back 2010s or even 2000s.
Recently interested to buy a second phone and I really like their compact xperia 5 series. They stopped at 5 V lol.
It took them ages to sharing top and bottom bezels and eventually they have their signature looking devices. That's good. But the pricing is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous with barely an improvement except SoC.
Check motorola 60 edge stylus. Feature packed and crazy price. Sad part is only for India. I would love to see manufactures to do less bs stuff and more concrete moves in their marketing strategies...
