Do we have any news on the battery??
I haven't gone for a new phone this year because I was waiting for two phones specifically, the Sony Xperia VII & the Fairphone 6.
I assumed Sony will increase the battery to 6,000mah or 7,000mah to be in line with top competition as they usually are, but if they don't then it's an instant no buy.
As for Fairphone, just hoping they give a phone with reasonable specs that makes it worth switching to modular.

I imagine you'd have all this stuff on a separate computer anyway, because you wouldn't want to lose your phone and also your only carefully curated square centimeter of mega-storage
SD is convenient for some, I get it... It really isn't anything groundbreaking or special.

Elsewhere, however? I'll stick to this best GSM Arena mobile site, which doesn't report the 95% of stupid rumors (yet Esato or Sumahodigest seemed better than Reddit or others). Because now, with official Sony sites in Europe reporting the announcement, we can say that it will be available.

Can someone tell me if this is worth the upgrade from the Sony Xperia E5? Been using it since 2016 but I only want to upgrade it if this will feel like a genuinely big step up. Can't see much difference between the E5 and this phone. And the E5 only cost me £160 and this new Sony is over 1000!
