Most of Xiaomi apps are just buttons with broken/no code under. It's the fake it until you make it game they're playing. I honestly think they're not spending much on their software department. Even their RAM cleaner just increases memory usage after pressing it. it's no wonder their battery life is trash. One would think with having the most aggressive multitasking killing that their battery life would be the best in class, but it's the opposite.

Hello,
I come from a X6 Pro, then a F6 and now have a X7 Pro. I've absolutely no complain about X7 Pro battery life.
I use my smartphones many hours every day, for surf, calls and videos but I don't play. I'm on 5G most of the time and use it half outside, half inside. These phones don't show the screen on time, but I know how long I can use them.
Here is what I get with theses phones.
X6 Pro : 1,5 day
F6 : 1,25 day
X7 Pro : 2 days (HyperOS 2.0.9.0)

My last charge lasted 61 hours. Poco maybe fixed what we read in this review.

They can call it hyperOS or MIUI it always be cheap wanna be copu iOS . I always remove miui and flash a better custom roms but with hyperOS they made it harder to use any other roms . It may clear only a few hundred megabytes out of one gigabyte. Remove the ad apps using adb or local adb and replace them with other apps from trusted sources or open source

I wonder if there is a way to disable all-screen ads in Xiaomi system cleaner app..or if there is another one that does the same job, without ads... can't stand those, even pop up in stores when I'm testing the xiaomi phones..

Better late then come fast with issues. And yeah i have not got the os 2.0 and Android update yet also on my F5 EU version
And it wont be long when Xiaomi be on par with Samsung with their pricing as already Redmi note series is too expensive and not worth it. I am not a fan of any brand. Well i have had most of my phones Nokia but thats cause of the market and in the era where was no smartphones. When touch screen phones started to come out then all electronics brands basically started to make them

And see reddit and Xiaomi Forums for opinions how "innovative" the update is and what it does to people's phones.
Ofc the Xiaomi fanbase here has no issues whatsoever, but they never had on any Xiaomi device with any software version in first place....

There's no excuse why Xiaomi 14 Ultra has worse battery life than S24 Ultra, they have similar displays, same SoC, same battery capacity
Same for Redmi Note 13 Pro+ vs Nothing Phone 2a

I got my X7 Pro today and first impressions are good though. Took like 4 hours of screen time from 65 to 20 percent. Other battery life reviews are inconsistent with GSMarena results, where Xiaomi phones get considerable worse scores. Will be keeping an eye on it in the next few days.

Weird that there are no news that HyperOS 3.0 can come earlier cause new Android number maybe coming in summer of 2025 and there for even Poco F5 can get the 3rd OS update as rumors state

If we can only install Samsung OS on the Xiaomi phone then we can talk about what OS is better. Different hardware and specs all around makes the difference in battery life
Even minor differences in specs can already make massive difference in battery consumption so as long as we cant just install OS on a single hardware we cant also compare the different phones in battery life. People just complain about all of that.
Want bigger batteries but the difference is practically none existent
The difference for me going from 4000mAh to 5000mAh was pretty much nothing and seems like from 5000mAh to 6000mAh is same. even tough the new tech should consume less but actually seems to consume a lot more. Well there are more features with new tech so hoping for bigger battery to solve it is not really worth it
