Where are Edge 40 series phones in your top 20 list? It is very sad and unbelievable. Edge 40 series phones has set a benchmark in the midrange mobile market in terms of camera and design. We can't ignore IP68 rating, multi-directional PDAF for balanced camera setup, Vegan leather backs, always peek on display and many more features. Samsung A54, A34 users can easily tell the fact that health of our batteries after usage of 1 year has decreased drastically.

The worst rating list ever . You put a flagship iPhone in 6 place whilst keeping a budget samsung in 2 place , which incidentally surpasses the lower end s23. And for all you gatekeepers out there who say I'm biased toward iPhone , my current phone is Android, the nothing phone 2. So please take this list with a grain of salt

Last years list also included phones from 2021 (like Xiaomi 12) and I think that's the better way to see popularity. Redmi Note 12 released very late in 2022 but was in almost all weekly top lists of 2023 so it should also be in the yearly top list for 2023. Hope next year you go back to the old system.

Make all phone sfrom all brands available in all 206 countrie... moreBlame the chinese brands then..for not selling in all 1000 countries, since almost every brands have equal chance to sell in any country.
Also your argument is invalid, because Samsung/Apple are still top best selling phone in region where people could find multiple chinese phone brands, like in middle east, south america, south east asian, and africa.

Basically, that is the country with the most choice. All the Chinese brands are available and all the flagships are available except Google for obvious reasons. However, Apple flagships are still the top selling flagships by far depspite the Chinese flagships being much cheaper in China (the price advantage in China is much more than it is in other countries, particularly non asian countries). I don't like Apple products personally as I dislike IOS but that is simply a fact. Huawei was close to Apple in terms of flagship sales before all the US restrictions on hardware components but Apple took the biggest chunk of their lost market share after all the restrictions and if you exclude Huawei they sell more than the flagships of the other major Chinese brands combined in China. I don't think that means they are better phones but it is a reality.

Just a quick Google search reveals that Apple's iPhone 14, 14 Pro Max, 14 Pro, and iPhone 13 were apparently the four best-selling smartphones in the world in 2023, after them they're 6 Samsung phones. So not sure what everyone laughing at my post means.

First 6 is funny to be honest.
Make all phone sfrom all brands available in all 206 countries in the world and Samsung with Apple will never reach even top 50 in the lit because msot so called chinese competitors for same price gives 2 times better specced device plus another 50-100 in accesories in box.
Every other flagship from Every other brand is way better than S23 Ultra, Apple 15 pro max or Google pixel 8 pro.
