It is also one of 3 such devices that aren't borderless - M15, LG Q6 and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Width isn't as big of a concern as height if you use the phone mostly with one hand.
The market really lacks 4,5-5" phones with slighlty beefier specs- sort of Sharp Aquos Mini (SHV 31/33/38/41) line for japanese market

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2018One of the few phones lately that is actually compact, with decent enough specs and an afforda... moreermmm did you know that 5.46 16:9 is the same width that 6" 18:9, only shorter right? and that most 18:9 have slim bezels so the phones (except some, like moto g6 line) are not taller than the old 16:9 phones , right?

Everything is a 6" frying pan lately. Even the mid-rangers.

Samsung is dishing out those 16:9 screens that they themselves won't use anymore. The cost might have reduced to half at this point.
