i've been using this phone for a month so far no problems. it's durable, dropped it accidentally on concrete and it's still working. games are terrific. graphics are like those i saw on pc. the only bad is there is no flash for cam. i recommend this over those overpriced smartphones.

MADHUSUDHANA RAO, 22 Aug 2012i want to buy a new android dual sim phone,kindly suggest about micromax a85Hi, Micromax A85 is not a good phone for serious phone users. Very slow, and not worth for the money. Does not pair to branded car audio system. Better go in for samsung or good branded phones. When connected to 2G or 3G, the phone hangs, slow, and battery drains. Avoid this phone as far as possible.A 90S seems to be a better phone reading the specs. But no idea how Micromax will perform of the box.

If the company of micromax improve the bettry back of their mobile phones they can beat samsung or nokia also..pls highter authorities i have a believe in this brand. good luck and i hope in coming month i will see this problem solved..thank u.

vinit, 10 Oct 2012it can be upgraded up to jelly bean custom rom because it has nvdia tegra same is installed in... moreIt comes with Nvidia Tegra 2 which is dual core @ 1 GHz.
where as Asus Nexus 7 comes with Tegra 3 Quad-core @ 1.3 Ghz.

good day. i got a micromax A85, but it has a 95% screen resolution on its side portion. is there someone who can suggest on how to make it 100%... does the unit needs reprogramming or just the calibration of screen for better resolution... please suggest...
