Indian handset maker Lava has announced that its smartphones will get expensive in India from November 15, 2026, by up to INR3,000.

Lava says the price hike is due to ongoing memory shortages and advises consumers planning to buy a smartphone to do so before the increase.

In an official statement, Lava said, "In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to INR3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026. Consumers looking to upgrade their devices have a strong opportunity at this moment, as our products are currently available at festive prices across leading e-commerce platforms and offline retail network. We would encourage customers to take advantage of the ongoing offers, before the revision comes into effect."

While Lava has said it will increase smartphone prices by up to INR3,000, it is yet to reveal the exact amount of the price hike for smartphones sold in India.
