The main sensor is smaller, but I can’t say it’s worse, since I haven’t tried it. And the chip is supposed to be better, has global 5G and Android 16. Again, how is this a downgrade?

That's interesting because to me this looks even worse than Pura 80 Ultra. And honestly it doesn't look like Huawei is using any ISZ but just digital zoom with AI.

artificial intelligence or is it p... moreAs a Huawei hater I have to disagree. For the first time ever I genuinely like photos it takes at native focal lengths. Hell, even at 2x zoom those are pretty good. Very clean and not overprocessed at all. But zoom any further and yeah it's back to Huawei AI sloppy photos.
Also the variable aperture at this sensor size is kinda unneccessary but who am I to judge. Better to have it than not.

Did you really say camera prowess LOL... You can check the photo samples in this preview from gsmarena. Pure AI slop. Garbage even at native focal lengths.

nowadays google are flooded with a bad reputation and bad decisions, like forcing ai in everything, plus replace androids own apps with their bloatware
imagine what will happen when huawei did what it did
tons of people will return to huawei plus the others whoes hate google will come to huawei stright away because there is no alternative phone is fast reachable for consumers to be concidered other than huawei right now while the other alternatives you need extra steps to get them
after that huawei will have a big appertunity to make a big entrance for harmonyos at global level which will be a succesfull if they execute it correctly

Here from the USA I like to give Huawei sum credit here remember the USA LITERALLY tried to cut the head off this Chinese company and look At then now it’s only made them stronger I admire this company refusing to die and move forward now all the haters can hate go ahead but I doubt this company fails they might even change the chip game !

Would have been a good all around, but they keep on gimping the international versions. 256/12 and 512/12? Seriously? USB 2.0 too which means you can't wire it on a bigger screen. Not that much change from my Pura 70 which has USB 3.1 btw
