I’ve owned this tablet since 2020 and still now. I can say the battery is totally in bad condition but despite this tablet being slow, it had the same performance as was in 2020 which surprised me a bit. This tablet is only good if you slap a 16/32GB SD card onto it and use it for retro gaming purposes.

This is the worst tablet in the whole entire world its to to slow and YouTube suddenly stop working it was saying your YouTube needs an ubdate i was trying to ubdate it but it wasnt ubdate its a trash tablet WORKING do not but it!

Today youtube stopped working since it's no longer supported in Android 6 marshmallow...
Too bad this tablet didn't get android 7 update

I took mine out of the drawer today hoping to use it for home assistant but it was so slow and laggy I decided to factory reset it but it's still slow and basically unusable. Weird for a quad core tablet from that period... I don't remember it being so trashy. Maybe I got spoiled by better hardware ?
Video apps like Youtube or Tiktok are unusable which is a shame. Even going to Youtube over Chrome or Firefox and using adblocks as to avoid the app overhead.
Basic video recording and playback is also a painful experience.
Basically, the initial setup with language selection and region was so unresponsive, that was a huge red flag.
I hope for people who find a similar device that it was mine who had a hardware issue (unlikely, but still...).

Oh man I had a good childhood with this tablet cleaning some good games doing everything fine with it or whatever but I broke display because YouTube was lagging as hell and now I do not have this tablet anymore and I really miss it 🥲

Also, I can't find a testpoint for the mediapad t3 7. I might buy a t3 7 soon and I'll unlock the bootloader on it. I'll maybe even try to port a custom ROM for it.

Really, its the worst type of Tablet I had ever encountered in my life.
Slow speed, hanging problem, low voice are the main features.
Now the new problem is that Youtube is not not running. The message is coming youtube is not available in your region.

This tablet is really worst tablet ever i used, but i got it in 2020 before, it worked well but in 2022, i was forced to switch to other tablet as this tablet was really really bad performance nowadays...i rate this tablet 7/10 i still have it plus i can play older games which dont support on my new tablet(Samsung galaxy Tab a8.0(2019)

I got this tablet in late 2018. Considering its been almost 4years id say it served me well for about half its lifespan. From there on its been unbearably slow and borderline unusable. If someone was willing to give me $45 for it id say its a steal. 1 or 2 gigs of Ram is far too little for the current average user. Pictures are downright awful...then again its a 2MP camera. I had the snapdragon 445 variant i think. It struggles to handle half of the games on Playstore. Overall id say this is a tablet youd get for your old grandma or your 5 year old son. Media consumption was overall decent id say if youre good with 480 to 720p videos. I had just turned 14 when i got this tablet. Im now turning 18. Id like to still honour this this device for all the memories its given me thoughout my teenagehood. Its now cracked and has multiple scratches as i could never find a cover for its metal back. This is the first time in a long time im replacing my device lol. Thank you Huawei.

This device is terribly slow and in practice impossible to use. I tried everything to bring it back to life in vain. The problem is the mediatek processor that doesnt work.Waste of money ! Dont buy it , or you will regret it .

Fully.rooted using Magisk v25.2 stable. My OS is stock but has been heavily debloated and has the Xposed framework installed. I've used Gravity Box to completely.customize the UI and Settings menu..
All the tools and software I mentioned above are free and readily available at XDA.

An excellent example of streamlined engineering for an Android-based tablet. Sleek, lightweight and aesthetically appealing in every aspect. Given its limited hardware capabilities, the MediaPad T3 7.0 performs surprisingly well, and sustains well in terms of battery power with moderate to heavy usage.
For the money, an excellent tablet.
