ArijantechREV, 10 Feb 2026Yeah... design is basically the same, peep the camera lens gap and earpiece thing... it's... moreI did put the 5g to 4G LTE by going to the phone app put in *#*#4636#*#* and go to the phone information after that tap on set preferred network type choose the LTE one and the SIM Wil show 4G LTE if you do this the battery will get an extra 2hr of use and with airplane mode on you wil get a extra 20min of gaming but if you do both you will get an 2hr and 20min for gaming but if you are using both without playing games the time will be 4hr instead of 2hr and 20 Min just try it and enjoy an extra 3 years of smooth performance

Been using it for slightly over a year now. I'd say the phone is overall fantastic to use, performance feels great (12GB RAM certainly coming in clutch) and the battery holds out fine as well for most of the time. Charges up pretty quickly as well. Cameras are also solid to use. And heck, having the microSD extension is amazing (I can separately keep my music library!) and the 3.5mm audio slot is a nice bonus. However you certainly need to get used to the actual design (like the sides and the overall phone feel), plus, of course, the main issue is Software Updates - still Android 14 and I thin it's unlikely to get any newer versions (even though there are occasional version updates and it receives Play Store security updates rather quickly), though that's both blessing and a curse, I'd say. I just wish it could be unlocked properly to be able to use it to full extent, after all, HTC does provide some kind of source code on their website after all...

Is there anyone here in the know regarding HTC? will they make another upper midrange device? Because if they do, I am sure they will include MicroSD+3.5mm jack

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2025any progress?I was only mentioning that the feature is there in the dev options for the U24 Pro. I did not unlock the bootloader on my phone on purpose because that would disable security features. Banking apps and tap to pay will not run with an unlocked bootloader for security reasons.
