Some quick facts about me: 🏠 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is where I call home; 📖 currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in theoretical physics; 👽 I also hold a research assistantship at the Berkeley SETI Research Center where I get to look for aliens; 🙋🏻♂️ overall just a really cool guy.

But I really enjoy telling stories through data. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I've even published papers about the things I've learned from analyzing large datasets, e.g. Yek et. al. (2020). However, one thing that would always bum me out was when I'd try to get my friends and family to read my papers, just to receive an expression that can only be described as "utterly bamboozled"; imagine the shock on my face when I realized not everyone understood what magnetorotational instabilities or integrated flux density meant 😲
Never one to back down from a challenge though, I set out to build my own website from scratch, where I could publish my own stories, and share all the wonderful insights one can gleam through the window of data, without having to be bogged down by semantics or academic jargon.
So here it is, the culmination of years and years of learning: from tech stacks to machine learning, JavaScript to SQL, and the cherry on top - the art of storytelling.
While far from perfect, I sincerely hope you enjoy what I've built, and if you have any questions, comments, concerns, critiques, complaints, criticisms, crustaceans, crocs (the shoe, not the animal), or just general tomfoolery, don't hesitate to reach out.
