✨️ As the Black Management Forum marks its 50th Anniversary, we proudly congratulate the Class of 2025 on achieving an unprecedented 89% pass rate. 👏 This milestone reflects the resilience and determination of learners who have overcome significant socio-economic challenges, supported by dedicated educators, parents, and communities. Education remains a powerful catalyst for Black leadership, economic participation, and intergenerational mobility. While we celebrate this progress, we remain mindful of persistent inequalities - particularly in mathematics and science - that must be addressed to unlock inclusive growth and future innovation. 🔬 As we reflect on 50 years of advancing Black excellence, the BMF reaffirms its commitment to quality education, mentorship, and targeted support to ensure academic success translates into opportunity, leadership, and sustainable progress. #GPExcellence #EducationForTransformation #NextLeaders

Lighting the Way: A Trailblazer in Renewable Energy 💡 The Black Management Forum in Gauteng is celebrating Khumoetsile (Khumalo) Kotelo, the Head of Legal for Eskom Renewables, as a pioneering force in the energy sector. She's a shining light for young women, proving that with grit and talent, you can cut through any glass ceiling. Born and raised in Meadowlands, Soweto, Khumoetsile's journey is a testament to the power of resilience and determination. Raised by a single parent who worked tirelessly as a teacher to put her through varsity, Khumoetsile's story is a true reflection of the strength and sacrifice that defines many South African families 🌍 She began her career at Africa's largest law firm, ENSafrica, where she cut her teeth alongside industry giants, working hand in hand with senior leaders, including CEOs. Attending this year’s conference and gala dinner was a proud moment for us as an organisation committed to advancing the Black transformation agenda. The gathering was a powerful affirmation of the collective work being done across sectors to drive meaningful, sustainable change in South Africa. We were inspired by the leaders, professionals and partners who continue to push boundaries, challenge inequity, and create pathways for Black excellence to thrive. Their stories and contributions remind us that transformation is not an event — it is ongoing work, fuelled by courage, collaboration and a shared vision for an inclusive economy. The evening was both a celebration and a recommitment. A celebration of how far we have come, and a recommitment to the hard work still ahead: • Advancing real economic participation, • Strengthening Black leadership across industries, • Building institutions that reflect the diversity and talent of our nation. We leave this year’s conference and gala encouraged and energised, knowing that the transformation agenda is alive, active and driven by people who care deeply about South Africa’s future. Together, we move forward. ✊🏾🖤 BMF National BONGI BAKO Comfort Matoti Paseka Letsatsi M.B.L MoAfrika Mamorena Madisha
