We delighted to share that our Group CEO Loyiso Tyabashe will be speaking at the Africa Energy Forum (#aef26), taking place this June in Cape Town.   Under the theme “Building Africa’s Industrialised Future”, this year’s forum reflects a clear shift toward delivery - recognising that industrial growth depends on reliable, large-scale power systems, including diversified energy mixes, transmission infrastructure and firm baseload.   #aef26 will bring together policymakers, investors and industry leaders to explore how capital, partnerships and project development are shaping Africa’s next phase of growth.   We look forward to joining the conversation in Cape Town.   🔗 Click here to register for aef 2026: https://lnkd.in/e7jek2u8 💡Find out more about aef 2026 here: https://lnkd.in/egdHF9jb   #aef26 #AfricaEnergyForum #Industrialisation

“To build public trust by design in the delivery of nuclear projects, the industry must take a step back to reorient and reflect. We need to move beyond technical language and reconnect with the real concerns, experiences, and expectations of the communities we serve,” says Necsa GCEO, Loyiso Tyabashe during a panel discussion at #NEISA2026 currently underway in Kigali, Rwanda. Public trust is not a “nice to have” it’s our license to operate. Achieving it requires more than communication, it demands genuine engagement, transparency, and inclusivity. We must actively involve communities and bring them with us at every stage of the nuclear project journey, ensuring their voices are heard.
