Yesterday, Innovus Technology Transfer Office at Stellenbosch University (TTO) had the privilege of hosting a workshop with the legendary Jeff Skinner. With over 35 years of experience in knowledge transfer and as a former Executive Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Private Capital at London Business School, Jeff brought his world-class expertise to Stellenbosch.   The workshop aimed to highlight partnerships, the expertise shared, and the value for local ecosystem.   The event comprised colleagues from the University of Cape Town, Research and Innovation, the UWC TTO and the NRF/SARAO - South African Radio Astronomy Observatory commercialisation team to unpack the journey centered on Commercialising New Technologies: From Invention to Investment.   Discussions focused on how to bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and the market.
