Heads up! Samsung has introduced a very useful upgrade to the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in One UI 9.
For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected.
In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible.
This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. It keeps your PiP content private without affecting the rest of the interface, making the feature much more practical than before.
- Do you think Samsung will use new technology on its Provacy Display to avoid degraded picture quality or they will dismissed it entirely?
- Whoever says that this isn't invetion is a fucking retared. No one has been able to copy this tech yet, tells you how much has samsung cooked
- I sold my S26U and it's so strange for me now to use a non-privacy display phone, as I feel like everyone is looking at my screen
