Włodzimierz Żukowski is a composer, improviser, lighting designer, and multimedia artist working at the intersection of sound, light, generative systems, and live performance. His practice relies on musical composition, creative coding, computer network design, and visual art—disciplines that converge into visceral works.
His compositions have been performed by new music ensembles, including Ensemble Musikfabrik, Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Kwartludium, and the Chopin University Modern Ensemble. His installations and live audiovisual performances have been featured at festivals like Warsaw Autumn and Warsaw Autumn Hits the Club.
Together with Patrycja Kołodziejska he creates S C A T T E R I N G - an immersive audiovisual performance built from spectral vinyl noise, degraded magnetic tape, and abstracted 3D video, tracing liminal spaces that resist memory and identity. His spatial installation work, including Soundscapewalks, utilizes generative systems, field recordings, and real-time data to synthesize imagined environments from the fabric of the city.
As an improviser, he collaborates regularly with Bartosz Mularski and Olga Pasek.
