Yesterday, Samsung created the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta section for the Galaxy A54 on its Community forum for India, suggesting that the brand could open the beta program of the new software for the phone. As expected, it is finally live.
Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy A54 in India. The update bringing the first beta build of the new software is 2,733.42MB in size and carries firmware version A546EXXUJZZD5 (via Tarun Vats).
The beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy A54 is available only for those devices that are enrolled in the beta program of the new software. To register your device for it, open the Samsung Members app and find and tap on the banner for the beta program of the new software for your device. Now, open the phone's Settings and navigate to Software update > Download and install. Here, the device will show you that an update is available for the device that offers One UI 8.5. Tap on Install now to get it.
Compared to One UI 8.0 (Android 16), One UI 8.5 has a new user interface and many new features. You can check out the complete list of changes it brings here. Note that the beta version of the new software may have bugs hindering the standard functionality. If you don't want the risk, you will have to wait for Samsung to release its stable version, which is a few weeks away.
