Dr. Sarah Adrianowycz is a Tufts Veterinary School graduate. Following an internship at University of Florida, and a specialty internship at University of Wisconsin, she completed her medical oncology residency at Tufts University. She is excited to work with the wonderful team at Angell to help her patients and their families navigate veterinary cancer care.

Kristine Burgess, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology) - Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Burgess is a graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She completed a residency in medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and later completed a second residency in radiation oncology at Tufts University.

She is board-certified in Medical Oncology (ACVIM) and served for 12 years on the oncology faculty at Tufts University, where she continues to hold an adjunct appointment.

Dr. Burgess has extensive experience in radiation oncology and focuses her clinical practice on precision radiation therapy, including complex treatment planning with IMRT, VMAT, and stereotactic techniques.

She is proud to be part of the Angell team and values the opportunity to provide advanced radiation therapy within a collaborative specialty environment.

Megan Cray, VMD, DACVS-SA - ACVS Fellow, Surgical Oncology

Dr. Cray is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and a board-certified surgeon. Following her surgical residency at Angell, she completed her fellowship in surgical oncology at The Ohio State University in 2022.

Now back at Angell, Dr. Cray is currently the only veterinary surgical oncologist in Boston. She takes an integrated approach to cancer treatment, working with our specialized medical and radiation oncology teams to supplement her surgical expertise and provide the best possible care for each of her patients.

Outside of veterinary work, Dr. Cray is a self-professed foodie, and she enjoys traveling. She also loves to spend time with her family, including her three pets: cats Bella (a tripod) and Rajah, and a pit bull named Maisie, whom she adopted from the MSPCA.

Gretchen McLinden, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) - Medical Oncologist

Dr. McLinden is a board-certified medical oncologist who completed her residency in medical oncology at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in July 2024. During her residency, she was honored with the Charles and Althea Simons Award for Clinical Excellence, given to a New England resident who demonstrates outstanding clinical skills.

A native of Winchester, MA, Dr. McLinden attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she split her time between working in a developmental biology laboratory and managing the campus’ goat herd. She then pursued her veterinary degree at Tufts, graduating in 2019. Afterward, she moved to Brooklyn, NY, for a rotating internship before returning to Tufts for her residency.

Outside of work, Dr. McLinden enjoys traveling—especially to escape cold weather—cooking, and spending time with her tortoiseshell calico, Shenzi.

Quinn Castine - Oncology Secretary

Quinn began working at Angell in 2022 as a Client Liaison before transitioning to the role of Oncology Secretary in 2024. He has worked as a pharmacy technician and in store management, but he especially loves working with animals and being part of a team that supports their well-being. Quinn lives in Providence with his cat, Duchess. In his spare time, he enjoys painting, travel, and birdwatching.

After her cat was treated by the emergency department at Angell, Rachael began volunteering at the hospital and joined the staff as a Client Liaison in February of 2012. She moved to her current role as Oncology Secretary in September of 2017. Rachael lives in Boston with her two cats, Manny and Oliver, and her dachshund Special Agent Dale Cooper.  Outside of work, she enjoys surfing and playing on the beach with her dog.
