    Think Scaling Your Impact Is About Doing More? Think again. 🎛️ Imagine your leadership like a sound system. Cranking up the volume doesn’t improve the music if the speakers can’t handle it. You need better overall equipment, not just louder sound. You’re lifted up by your team’s performance, skills, and qualities—not the other way around. Here are my top unconventional tips: 1️⃣ Forget the Eisenhower Matrix; leverage the LNO Framework (Leverage, Neutral, Overhead). 💡 Imagine your tasks as investments. Would you pour money into low-return stocks? Probably not. Classify your activities: focus on high-leverage tasks that drive the most impact, delegate neutral ones, and eliminate overhead. 🤯I was reminded of this great quote by famous computer scientist Donald Knuth on a recent Jim Collins podcast interview: > “Email is a wonderful thing for people whose role in life is to be on top of things. But not for me; my role is to be on the bottom of things. What I do takes long hours of studying and uninterruptible concentration.” In which category are you? “Getting to the bottom of things” or “Staying on top of things”? 2️⃣ Over-Invest in Writing and Detailing Expectations 📝 Think of clear expectations as your team’s GPS. Without it, they’re driving blind. Spend extra time documenting goals and plans in detail. It may seem tedious upfront, but it aligns efforts and dramatically reduces miscommunication. 3️⃣ Think in Terms of Three Levels of Impact 🌐 Don’t just play on one field. Your influence should span: • Direct impact (your immediate team) • Indirect impact (broader business areas) • Organizational influence (company-wide culture & practices) 4️⃣ Utilize Mentorship and Career Conversations as Delegation Tools 🎯 Delegation isn’t dumping tasks; it’s developing talent. Use mentorship to empower your team, turning delegation into a growth engine. It’s like teaching your band members new skills—they grow, and the whole group sounds better. It’s a win-win that scales your impact while investing in your people. 5️⃣ Produce, Organize, and Publish 📣 Your work doesn’t speak for itself unless you give it a voice. Go beyond just doing—organize your insights and share them widely. Publishing amplifies your influence, showcases your expertise, and can inspire others across the organization. 6️⃣ Adopt the Keystone Habit of Weekly Calendar Planning ⏰ Keystone habits trigger positive changes across other areas of life.  The decisions you make right now are what will shape your future. Every action, every choice, every small step you take today has the potential to create a ripple effect that impacts your life tomorrow, next week, and even years down the road.
 Here’s how you can start making changes today to create a better tomorrow:
 1. Set Clear Goals 
Define what you want your future to look like. Be specific about your goals—whether it's in your career, personal growth, health, or relationships. Clear goals give you direction and purpose, guiding your daily actions.
 2. Take Small, Consistent Steps

    What if doing less today… Delivered bigger results tomorrow? It might sound crazy, but doing less can actually help you achieve more. Sometimes we’re so focused on chasing the next goal that we fill our days with too much of the wrong things. This is where the 80-20 Rule (also called the Pareto Principle) comes in. It says that 80% of your results come from just 20% of your efforts. What if you flipped your approach and focused on the 20% that truly makes the biggest difference for you? Here’s how you can take action today: 1/ Relationships ↳ Identify one person who energises you. ↳ Schedule a 10-minute chat or coffee with them this week. 2/ Personal Goals ↳ Write down a goal that truly matters to you. ↳ Break it into three simple steps and commit to working on it today. 3/ Health & Fitness ↳ Add three x 30-minute movement sessions to your calendar. ↳ It could be walking, yoga, or any activity you enjoy. 4/ Learning ↳ Choose one skill that aligns with your biggest goal. ↳ Set aside 20 minutes a day to focus on it, distraction-free. 5/ Work Tasks ↳ Identify three high-impact tasks for tomorrow. ↳ Write them down and start your day by tackling the hardest one. 6/ Energy ↳ Say “no” to one task or commitment that drains you. ↳ Redirect that energy into something that truly matters and you want to do. 7/ Money ↳ Review your spending and cut one expense that doesn’t bring value. ↳ Put that money into savings or something meaningful. 8/ Mental Clarity ↳ Spend five minutes journaling or clearing your workspace. ↳ Do this before you start your day to sharpen your focus.     Every individual can be a changemaker!   I often get asked if social entrepreneurship is the only way to bring change in society.   Largely yes, as I strongly believe in the efforts and long-term commitment the development sector has put to the sustainable development goals. But my experience has taught me that the collective efforts of all stakeholders including individuals and citizens of a nation can help create a bigger impact.   If individuals are not aware and motivated to see an inclusive world, then who are we creating the perfect world for?   By making conscious choices in their daily lives, every individual, irrespective of their background can contribute to social change and build an inclusive world. Everyone has a part to play in social change. As a founder in the development space, here's what I think people can do in an individual capacity to make a difference in their communities:   1.  Support sustainable, local businesses & social enterprises: These businesses often prioritize social and environmental objectives and sometimes community building allowing you to create impact through your everyday purchases.   2.  Donate/fundraise: Consider donating to nonprofits yourself or launch fundraising campaigns on your special day/events to raise awareness for a cause close to your heart.   3.  Advocate for change: Use your voice! Engage in wholesome discussions, share information, amplify the reach of your preferred nonprofits and become the voice of marginalized communities.   4.  Volunteer your professional skills: Leverage your professional expertise and networks in areas such as marketing, strategy, finance, or technology to support non-profit organizations in their mission.   5.  Educate and raise awareness: If there is a cause, you want to take up, build an audience for yourself. Sharing knowledge and raising awareness about social issues is a powerful way to influence change.   Above All, Be Kind: Go the extra mile to help others!   Teach the kid of your domestic help, tip your server generously, mentor youth from marginalized communities, recruit a transgender and promise to uplift the life of at least 1 person around you.   Remember, even the smallest acts of kindness can have a ripple effect and drive significant social change.   I'm curious to hear your thoughts and additional ideas!
