    At the Project Nanda: Architecting the "Internet of AI Agents" session on the topic of Consumerization of Agentic Web, I illustrated a practical scenario to show how key agentic web protocols from Anthropic's Model Context Protocol, Google's Agent2Agent Protocol, and MIT Media Lab's Project Nanda could seamlessly orchestrate real-world, E2E agent interactions. Scenario: “Order a Large Pepperoni Pizza in 15 Minutes for Under $20” Instead of searching, browsing, and transacting across multiple apps, the user simply expresses intent: “Order a large pepperoni pizza within 15 minutes under $20.” 1. Discovery: Task Delegation to a Personal Agent * User → Personal Agent: The user delegates the request to their personal AI agent, which serves as their digital proxy. * Personalization via MCP: The agent is grounded in personal data, address, preferences, wallet access by securely connecting with an #MCP servers. This means the agent’s capabilities are transparently extended based on explicit user permissions. 2. Trust & Context: Intelligent Matchmaking with Nanda * Personal Agent → Nanda Index: The agent reformulates the user’s request, adding personalized context (like delivery location, dietary preferences). * Nanda Index: Think of #Nanda as the “semantic DNS” for agents. It performs intelligent parsing and matchmaking by, searching public and private registries for available pizzeria agents within a 2-mile radius, filtering candidates that match the price, timing, and menu requirements * Back to Personal Agent: Nanda returns a ranked list of candidate pizzeria agents, those most likely to satisfy the user’s constraints. 3. Negotiation & Selection: Multi-Agent Collaboration * Personal Agent → Candidate Pizzeria Agents (via A2A): For each candidate agent the personal agent asks a set of selection questions like Do you offer pepperoni pizza? How soon can you deliver? * Interactive Negotiation: The personal agent queries and negotiates terms (menu, pricing, delivery window) with candidate agents using the #A2A protocol, which standardizes secure, transparent agent-to-agent messaging and workflows. 4. Transaction: Order Placement & Payment * Personal Agent → Selected Pizzeria Agent (via A2A): Once a pizzeria agent is selected, the personal agent. Places the order, shares the user’s delivery address and facilitates payment. * Transaction Confirmed: All this happens in the background, no forms, no manual price checks, no app switching. Why Does This Matter?     Multi-agent systems should be designed to include human as well as AI agents. A new open-sourced interface from Microsoft does exactly that. In Magentic-UI, a lead Orchestrator coordinates specialist agents - including humans - using 6 simple collaboration models as a starting point. In testing, Magentic-UI completed about 82% of everyday web tasks and 46% of tougher challenges entirely on its own. When it paused to ask a human for a quick pointer, only 10 % of tasks, accuracy went up by 71 %. This shows that when human guidance is asked for just when needed, it can lead to substantial performance improvement with minimized effort. The six models used by Magentic-UI are instructive. Remember this is a user interface, a way of improving how humans are involved in AI task performance. These models are inspiration for a host of other possible interaction forms. 🧭 Co-planning Before the agent takes any action you see its step-by-step plan laid out like a checklist and can reorder, delete or rewrite items until the flow matches your intent. Nothing executes until you click Accept, so you keep full control from the very first move. 🔄 Co-tasking During execution either party can hit Pause to take the wheel, type a clarifying prompt, or manually click through a tricky web page. This back-and-forth makes the agent feel more like a cooperative colleague than a black-box bot. 🛑 Action approvals When an irreversible or high-risk step—like sending money or deleting data—comes up, an ActionGuard popup asks for a quick Yes/No. The task cannot proceed without your explicit green light, adding a safety net against costly mistakes. 🔍 Answer verification Once the agent claims it’s done you can replay its entire click-by-click history or drill down with follow-up questions to double-check the output. This audit trail builds trust and helps catch edge-case errors before they matter. 💾 Memory Any successful workflow can be saved as a named template, so next time a similar request arrives the agent starts with a proven plan instead of reinventing the wheel. Over time this growing library turns ad-hoc successes into reusable best practices. 🌐 Multi-tasking You can run several autonomous sessions side by side—each in its own tab—with status icons that flag which ones are waiting for your input. This lets you supervise multiple jobs at once without losing track of progress. We need more of this thinking. Humans + AI agent workflows are the future.

    Multi-agents AI - why do we need it? Most AI today still fall into one of two categories: 1. Over-reliant on a single large model → prone to mistakes, loops, and unpredictable behavior. 2. Predefined workflows → more reliable but rigid and hard to scale. Neither truly enables AI to handle real tasks independently. #MultiagentAI takes a different approach. Instead of one AI doing everything, multiple specialized agents work together dynamically to complete tasks efficiently. One might gather information, another analyzes it, and another takes action — they communicate, adjust plans, and track progress, just like a well-coordinated team. Here’s what exactly is it? 1️⃣ Role Assignment & Task Delegation At the core of any multi-agent system, there’s usually an Orchestrator Agent (or Coordinator). This agent is responsible for: Breaking down the task; Deciding which agents are needed; Delegating work based on agent capabilities 2️⃣ Communication & Information Sharing Agents exchange data through APIs, message passing, or shared memory.     The proliferation of AI agents, particularly the rise of "shadow autonomy" presents a fundamental security challenge to the industry. While comprehensive controls for Agentic AI identities, Agentic AI applications, MCP, and RAG are discussed in the previous blogs, the core issue lies in determining the appropriate level of security for each agent type, rather than implementing every possible control everywhere. This is not a matter of convenience, but a critical security imperative. The foundational principle for a resilient AI system is to rigorously select a pattern that is commensurate with the agent’s complexity and the potential risk it introduces. These five patterns are the most widely used in agentic AI use cases, and identifying the right patterns or anti-patterns and controls is critical to adopting AI with necessary governance and security. 🟥 UNATTENDED SYSTEM AGENTS How It Works: Run without user consent, authenticated by system tokens. Risk: HIGH Use Cases: Background AI data processing, monitoring, data annotation, and event classification.
