Exciting News: Yardi partners with Nova Credit for improved access to verified income and asset reports Yardi has officially integrated Nova Credit’s Eligibility Compass into Yardi Verification Services, giving affordable housing and PHA providers a faster, more accurate way to verify household income and assets. Early results are incredibly promising: providers are seeing up to a 3.5x improvement in end-to-end verification completion rates. Here are some takeaways: 🔹 With the Virtuoso platform, we saw how applicants like Alex can go from not knowing where to start to feeling confident in their options with the help of AI chat to understand if they qualify and begin the process. 🔹 We walked through a few cases of how both residents and staff interact with the new platform. For example, from the moment a resident submits a reasonable accommodation through RentCafe, Virtuoso guides housing staff through automated work order generation and tracking until the task is officially completed. 🔹 And perhaps the biggest takeaway: AI is here to help you work faster, and in housing that efficiency is critical. That’s a wrap on NAHRO Washington! We kicked off the show with Yardi’s Shaina Herring-Fite, who spoke during the opening plenary session and shared her personal journey with public housing and how it helped create the foundation for her future. It was a powerful reminder to the housers in the room that the work they do matters. Here are some takeaways: 🔹 HUD maintained a strong presence at the conference, emphasizing the current administration’s housing priorities. 🔹 Funding is expected to tighten due to cuts to the LIPH programs, reinforcing the need for agencies to do more with fewer resources. 🔹 HUD plans to retire the HIP system and is upgrading PIC, which should allow MTW agencies that previously couldn’t transmit 50058s to do so once the update is complete. As Jeanette Porter said, “One thing is for sure, we need to come together, network and continue advocating for housing.” The work continues.
