Celebrating former TEM Student Antoine Mistico, who raised $2M for his company GameStock! Let's GO!
We raised $2M for GameStock, led by Peak XV Partners. My path to becoming a founder was very unconventional. 1. I played professional baseball in the Seattle Mariners organization. 2. Built my first startup to 12K users and over $500K in revenue, then got hit with a $2M lawsuit. 3. Somewhere along the way, I also grew my music to more than 1.1M Spotify listeners last year. Now I am building GameStock with Vivek Indlebele Narasimha Prasad & Easton Dana Very thankful to our partners and I’m immensely grateful to these people (and more) who have helped me along my founder journey. 📢 I’m proud to share the brand identity our team created for TEDxFaurotPark this semester through The GIT Creative Agency Over 7 weeks, we developed 6 deliverables ranging from social media graphics to print and video assets. https://lnkd.in/e_yT-zqk ⏱️ My relationship with TEDx actually began in 2013, when I worked as a student organizer for TEDxCheongdam event back in middle school. Being able to contribute to TEDx again more than a decade later, this time as a brand designer, made this project especially meaningful for me and pushed me to give my best. This was also my first time developing a full brand system and design guidelines. 🗂️ We focused on creating a visual structure that is meaningful, cohesive, and scalable across multiple touchpoints while still leaving room for creative expression and storytelling. Beyond design, this experience reminded me that impactful work comes from more than just design skills. It requires shared accountability, clear communication with clients, and constructive feedback sessions. 🤝 Even small things like keeping our Notion organized and maintaining a structured file system made a big difference in how smoothly our team worked together. Shoutout to our PM Shreya Chadha, TEDxteam YuEn(Yuna) Lin Kaeden Draper Camden Blackburn and special thanks to Professor Kassidy Breaux and benjie wilhelm, MDes for the support throughout the process. I'm excited to step into our next branding project with Technological entrepreneurship and Management Program at The Polytechnic School !

Last Friday was the Second Pitch Day at the #TechnologyInnovationLab course, in partnership with Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. The pitch highlighted the noticeable progress on product, service, or program innovation projects. The teams received insightful feedback and recommendations from the Honeywell evaluators' panel, composed of Kurt VandenBussche, Vice-President of Strategy & Innovation; Allison Haugen, Senior Director of Growth and Innovation; and Kristian (K.C.) Heun, Director of Strategy Planning. That was a high-stakes pitch for the students in the TIL course. From this round, the teams that will deliver the final presentation to Honeywell Leadership will be selected and will have the opportunity to interact with them at AZ Tech Week. We, the teaching team, mentors, and guest speakers, look forward to supporting all the teams during the next four weeks in the final innovation development cycle!
