How can we ensure that children and youth have the skills needed to successfully navigate this environment? Join us for a workshop on June 11 – 12 that will focus on ways to help children and youth navigate rapidly changing media environments. The workshop will bring together educators (from both formal and out-of-school settings), curriculum developers, researchers, program providers, as well as associations and organizations to explore promising practices and programs. Workshop participants will discuss and identify current educational needs for supporting the development of media literacy in the context of a complex information ecosystem. Coral reefs can span thousands of miles. But today, they face growing threats from rising ocean temperatures, putting entire ecosystems at risk.
