📣 The 3rd Edition of CIMAD - International Conference on Crafts and Design took place in Saint-Etienne (FR) in the beginning of May, hosted by MOSAIC partner Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne! 🌐 This year's edition had a global attendance as its 20 participants (including researchers, Arts and Crafts professionals and artists) came from countries such as the United States of America, Mexico, Morocco and United Kingdom (who joined participants coming from EU countries such as Italy, Latvia and Cyprus). 📌Themed "TELL ME! What do you feel? Exploring Bodily and Implicit Knowledge in Arts & Crafts", #cimad2026 allowed them to get involved in several activities led by Arts and Crafts experts, including conferences, performances and poster sessions! MOSAIC and its main results were presented by its Coordinator, Ms. Lida Poghosyan, from SEPR! ✅ In general, participants considered CIMAD as a place to meet people from different fields, as they were able to discuss a wide range of topics. Everyone shared experiences and facts about their jobs or #research, and some of them plan to stay in touch in the future, to continue the discussions. MOSAIC is in its final stage of implementation, but still there is a lot going on! 📢 Registrations for a webinar dedicated to the project's #hackathon are now open! Titled "MOSAIC Hackathon – Crafting skills for the future", this webinar is being held in the scope of the MOSAIC Ambassador's Group / EfVET Cultural and Creative Industries Working Group initiative (join at https://lnkd.in/d2RZWfq8). ♦️ As the first #CoVEs initiative funded by #ErasmusPlus programme fully dedicated to foster #VocationalExcellence in the Arts and Crafts sector, all of MOSAIC activities and outcomes aimed at #vocationaleducationandtraining (VET) #providers, VET #teachers, VET #learners, #artsandcrafts professionals, and other key #Stakeholders, who have been engaged with the project throughout its life cycle. 💡 This webinar will delve into one of the most successful results of MOSAIC - its Hackathon Methodology, implemented in the MOSAIC International Skills Performance (ISP), conducted back in 2024 with the purpose of improving the attractiveness of the Arts and Crafts professions. 🚀 MOSAIC went one step further and, after the ISP, its Hackathon Methodology was turned into a training module (allowing it to be replicated by VET schools across Europe and beyond, in classroom contexts), and was implemented by VET partner organisations during 2025. ✳️MOSAIC Showcases the CTTC Model at LCAMP Conference 2026, Basque Country ✳️ 📌Before its Final Conference in Trento, last week, MOSAIC was proud to participate at LCAMP Conference 2026 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, which took place between April 21st and 23rd. As a #FlagshipEvent for #vocationaleducationandtraining (VET) educators, center #managers, and #AdvancedManufacturing leaders, it provided the perfect stage to #advocate for the evolution of #VocationalExcellence. MOSAIC featured technical paper, "From Skills to Applied Research Ecosystems," explores the successful CTTC Canadian model and the inspiring Finnish journey, illustrating how these frameworks can drive robust economic growth across Europe. Good morning from Trento! 📌MOSAIC partners are together for the second day of its final meeting, hosted by Scuola Centrale Formazione - ETS and Artigianelli - Trento! The day started early, with an interesting (and short) visit to some of the main monuments of the town - a nice way of of preparing for a long day of discussions about MOSAIC achievements and expectations about the future in terms of #impact and #sustainability. 📣Welcome to the last partners' meeting of MOSAIC, hosted by the Italian partner Scuola Centrale Formazione - ETS and Artigianelli - Trento, in the beautiful city of Trento! During two and half days, MOSAIC partners are meeting for the last time to wrap up the 4 years of this amazing project that is aimed to contribute for #VocationalExcellence in the #artsandcrafts sector. 📌With an agenda filled with activities, partners will be discussing the real impact of MOSAIC, as well as its main results and outcomes, and will take the opportunity to showcase the project at its final Conference, taking place on April 30th at a special venue: the Buonconsiglio Castle Today started with an opening session jointly carried out with EfVET Internationalisation and Learning Mobility Thematic Team and its international event. As such, MOSAIC partners joined the participants of the Thematic Team' event for a session where #mobility and #internationalisation were the key topics, addressed by high-level speakers, including: ✅ Mr. Mario Nava (Director General of the European Commission´s Directorate General of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (#DGEMPL), who participated with a recorded video message about "The Future of Mobility in #ErasmusPlus"; ✅ Ms. Paola Bolognini (Director of Euro App Mobility, and representative of the Mobility Community Group of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (#EAFA). After this joint session, where representatives from Instituto Artigianelli and EfVET welcomed participants, MOSAIC partners started working in groups to identify the main highlights of the project - the kick-start of this meeting. 🔜More to come about these amazing (and very emotional) MOSAIC final meeting and Conference!
