An enterprise-safe generative AI engine to power your productivity

About us

Fuel iX is an enterprise GenAI platform that makes it easy to connect your company infrastructure to an extensive library of LLM models and to turnkey and custom generative AI applications, while giving you observability and control of all the steps in between. Fuel iX is the result of a combined effort by TELUS and TELUS Digital and is already in use by 50,000+ users. The platform was created to fill a gap left by other GenAI solutions — to enable enterprise-scale management of an organization's generative AI applications, foundation models, data sources, and tools, and run them inside a framework built from the ground up to deliver safe, responsible and accurate AI-powered experiences. TELUS is a recent recipient of an international Outstanding Organization 2023 prize from the Responsible AI Institute, and a TELUS GenAI application running Fuel iX is the first to have been certified in Privacy by Design (ISO 31700-1).

  • Right now, the gap between general AI investment and AI-related security is about 1000:1. This giant gap is the reason prompt injection, data exfiltration and model-level vulnerabilities keep making it through. Every guardrail gap, every production incident — all of it lives inside that ratio. Until organizations close it, everything else is damage control. Uncharted: The AI safety and security summit brought together the leaders who are actually closing the gap. Technical frameworks. Proprietary LLM benchmark data. Live red teaming demos from Fuel iX™ Fortify. All nine sessions are now on demand. 👉 Access all Uncharted sessions: https://lnkd.in/dpV9wDmj Bret Kinsella

Your AI application passed every code review. It failed the adversarial test you never ran. Most AI engineering teams treat security testing as something that happens after the build. A scan gets scheduled. Someone remembers to run it. Maybe. But LLM applications aren't static. Every prompt change, every model update, every new integration reshapes how the system behaves under attack. The version you tested last week is not the version in production today. The gap isn't awareness — it's infrastructure. There's no automated mechanism enforcing AI risk testing at the same cadence as development itself. Fuel iX™ Fortify 14.8 closes that gap. CI/CD Integration embeds automated red teaming directly into your build pipeline. Two config files. A POST endpoint. Quality gates that block deployments when vulnerability thresholds are exceeded. No UI. No context switch. No manual scheduling. AI security testing that runs every time something changes — before it reaches users. 👉 Read the full breakdown: https://lnkd.in/e-2wNQ9D

  • 93%. That is the vulnerability rate of the worst-performing model in our benchmark. 1.3%. That is the best. We tested 34 models. Ran 620,000 adversarial attacks across 15 risk categories. The gap between those two numbers is not a vendor problem. It is an enterprise liability, and most organizations deploying AI right now have no systematic way to know where their model sits. The Fuel iX™ GenAI Safety Model Benchmark 2026 gives you the data to find out. The benchmark is set. The question is whether your model meets it. 👉 Get the Fuel iX™ GenAI Safety Model Benchmark 2026: https://lnkd.in/gUhg4nKu

You can't manage what you can't measure — especially in agent training. 📊 We've just leveled up Fuel iX™ Agent Trainer with new performance metrics. Now, trainers can track average handle time and hold duration directly within the evaluation screen. Why this matters: Efficient agents create better customer experiences — and these metrics help trainers coach for both speed and quality. Smarter insights drive better training outcomes. • Most AI security conversations stop at theory. At Web Summit yesterday, we went hands-on. Ryan Miller, Reilly Kwiatkovsky, PMP and Somto Ofonagoro walked a room of enterprise leaders through exactly how to break your own AI systems — before your customers or attackers do. The organizations building production AI right now are not waiting for a breach to find their gaps. They are finding them on purpose. Fuel iX™ Fortify is how we do it at scale. 👉 Learn how Fortify stress-tests your AI before attackers do: https://lnkd.in/dMGPXewd

  • Is your AI governance truly bilingual? 🇨🇦 Many enterprise AI security programs are built around English. But for organizations in Canada, AI assistants are handling customer queries, financial guidance and benefit explanations in Canadian French every day. If you aren't red teaming in that specific language variant, you aren't fully covered. Why native testing beats translation: 1. Linguistic Nuance: Adversarial prompts land differently in French than in English. 2. Cultural Context: Parisian French and Canadian French are not interchangeable. 3. Governance: Documented evidence of safety across all operational languages is a regulatory must. Fuel iX™ Fortify’s new French Attacker capability generates native adversarial prompts directly in Canadian French across all testing workflows. • Most GenAI risk conversations happen after something goes wrong. That's too late. The security leaders we all trust aren't waiting for an incident to find out where they stand — they're stress-testing their AI systems against the same frameworks auditors and regulators use: OWASP, MITRE ATLAS and NIST AI RMF. Proactive AI safety requires discipline and it starts with knowing your exposure before an attacker finds it first. We built Fuel iX™ Fortify to make that possible — 140+ automated attack simulations, mapped to the three leading industry AI risk and security frameworks, so your posture is always measurable, defensible and audit-ready. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eSuJnCP8
