Erasmus+ UK reposted this
An EPIC few days for the team in Ynys Môn/Anglesey in beautiful North Wales for the Urdd Gobaith Cymru Eistedfodd promoting the upcoming opportunities for Erasmus+ UK ! The Urdd is the largest Welsh language youth organisation here in Wales and their annual Eistedfodd is the largest youth event in #Europe! And attracts young people from across Wales and beyond every year, Welsh and non Welsh speakers all are welcome! Wonderful feedback from people who have experienced the programme and benefited from the life changing opportunities it offers including Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Wales and MP Anna McMorrin. The team also met the new Deputy Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education, Cefin Campbell - a long time champion of Erasmus + who sat down and had a good natter about what the new programme will look like for #Wales. With soaring temperatures, and hot tents, the bucket hats came out and they were undefeated in their quest! Mr Urdd would have been proud. 🏴 Huge thanks to Catrin at the Urdd and to Welsh Government for supporting our work. Well done Thomas Davies-Lyons and Sara Treble-Parry, you embraced the spirit, heat and look 😆 🌎 🏴 #ErasmusPlus Next to Hay! Wales’ festival season has truly kicked in! ☀️
