It is time to speak up.

It is time to speak up.

I am disturbed by George Floyd’s killing and I support #BlackLivesMatter. I pray for his family and everyone who has been impacted by this.

As part of the HR community, I feel that I need to redouble my efforts to help create a more inclusive workplace and community environments. It is sad that it had to come to this tragedy for us to openly talk about racism, bias and lack of opportunities for underrepresented groups.

I challenge the HR practitioners to learn about this issue and openly discuss and address it. We can no longer act like it does not exist. If we want to attract, hire and retain diverse talent we need to walk the talk.

Leadership is key in this conversation

Agree, you are a woman of power and soul!

Great points you make! We all need to be human and speak up. #blacklivesmatter

I wholeheartedly agree America. Too many of our colleagues play it safe and had not been challenging the status quo. We can’t hold the C-suite accountable and give each other a pass.
