Thank you 2019!

We just had our end of year event 2019 and it got me reflecting on the amazing year we had, what it meant for each and every employee and for the company. 

The hard work and dedication paid off and we exceeded our expectations. I am thankful for our customers, the Exceeders and our investors for being part of our journey.   

We started the year with our first version of the product. Our product has since matured and expanded due to the amazing customer feedback and dedicated engineering team. Every day we are taking another step towards delivering on our vision of AI Assistants empowering sales and marketing teams by working alongside humans.

We grew our customer base 5x and our revenue by 6x in just 12 months! Our pipe-line going into 2020 is looking promising.

The Exceed family doubled in size and each team member is dedicated to the success of our customers, each other, and our communities. Every single day was made a delight and fun by this group of talented, committed, and passionate individuals. 

Our data science and machine learning team grew and continue to make our customers happier by delivering a smarter platform every day with AI and automation. This is a testament to the kind of company and culture that we are building, one that attracts the best and brightest from all walks of life. 

I grew as well and learned a lot from every single person I interacted with - customers, employees, investors, and colleagues.

I learned that to scale, I have to give the space and opportunity for others to make their mistakes (not just mine :-) ). I cannot do everything. Instead, I need to focus on empowering others. 

Through this growth, staying hungry, agile and humble are still incredibly important. The future is full of opportunity - the work we are doing now will set us up for success. 

I am most proud of the Exceed.ai team that had each other’s backs and supported each other in times of crisis. A Person’s real character is measured in times of crisis, not when all is well. Startups are like a rollercoaster,  they move fast, have ups and downs and can be a bumpy ride. The way our team works together always astounds me. We navigated a lot of new situations this year and had some amazing outcomes. 

A huge thank you to the dedicated Exceeders who continue to Exceed all expectations on every level of life, our customers and everyone who believed in Exceed.ai.  And of course, my co-founder, Yaron Ismach-Moshe, an equal partner in navigating the ship and leading Exceed to success.

And finally, I want to thank my family who had my back at home; my wife, Gaby and three kids Edan, Shira and Ari for the unconditional support and being my partners in this journey
