This March, Tencent Games invited developers to experience the future of gaming at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 – the game industry's premier professional event held in San Francisco, USA. Taking centerstage were next-generation innovations poised to redefine how games are created and experienced, capturing the attention of developers and the gaming industry.

We also hosted a full-day Tencent Game Developer Summit, featuring deep-dive sessions on cutting-edge technologies, development workflows, and creative innovations. These sessions attracted standing-room-only crowds and sparked enthusiastic conversations across the global dev community.

AI continues to be the hottest topic at GDC 2025. Elvis Liu Principal Engineer at Morefun Studios wowed the audience during the core concept session with a demo of F.A.C.U.L.: The First FPS AI Companion. The live showcase revealed how advanced AI can transform the player experience in FPS games—executing complex commands, adapting to dynamic scenarios, and delivering deeper in-game support like never before.

Honor of Kings Launches Green Activations to Drive Global Conservation Efforts Through Gaming

Tencent Delivers Strong 2024 Annual and Q4 results with a boost in gaming revenue both domestically and internationally

As we close out this edition, we are proud to share key highlights from our recently announced 2024 annual and Q4 results, reflecting continued momentum across our global games portfolio:

● International Games revenues rose by 15% year-on-year, with a total revenue of RMB 16 billion, driven by the performance of Brawl Stars and PUBG MOBILE, alongside the early access release of Path of Exile 2.

● Our evergreen games portfolio expanded from 12 titles in 2023 to 14 in 2024, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing new games into long-term franchises.

● Gross profit was USD12.6 billion, up 17% year-on-year.
