2025 is the year of the Frontier Firm

What’s a Frontier Firm, you ask? It’s an organization built around on-demand intelligence, human–agent teams, and a new kind of worker—one who builds and manages agents to extend their impact. And it’s the focus of the latest Work Trend Index Annual Report, which highlights the evolving business opportunity with AI.

The full report is packed with insights for organizations and the future of work—but what does it mean for you? Here are three big takeaways:

  1. The capacity gap is real. Workloads are piling up, and people are maxed out. Time to call in the AI reinforcements!
  2. AI isn’t just a helper—it’s a multiplier. The new Frontier Firm is about using agents to extend your reach. That means automating tasks, reasoning through complexity, and helping you do more of what matters.
  3. Every employee becomes a boss. As more employees use agents, success will hinge on learning to guide, prompt, and collaborate with them. In other words, becoming an agent boss. It’s a shift in mindset—and a chance to grow your role.

I was able to use some early version of copilot and I must say I loved some features of Copilot creating presentations based on prompt. It works best in the web version, on desktop apps, it gets little bit slower.
