Precision India
Following on the heels of a very successful launch of Precision in Vietnam, McGraw Hill India has launched Precision in India. While it didn't need to be translated, there are a couple of unique things we did for the book. First, there is an new chapter devoted to the story of Voltas, one of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the world headquartered in India. Second, since McGraw Hill is marketing this to the higher education market in India, the book contains a quiz at the end of each chapter. Finally, luminaries in India were kind enough to provide their own recommendations.
Precision is transforming every business from mining to manufacturing, agriculture to automobiles. It is an imperative that leaders and CEOs leverage the potential of IoT to bring about transformational changes and build competitive advantage. Dr. Chou's book empowers leaders to do just this! With extensive illustrations and case studies, it elucidates the defining power of IoT and the potential of a competitive edge that Precision offers. The book is a must-read for every business leader of today.

In Precision, Dr. Timothy Chou, explains the differences between Internet of Things (IoT) software versus Internet of People (IoP) software. Furthermore he inspires us to consider the endless possibilities for manufacturers and end users of machines to develop innovative business solutions.
M Gopi Krishna, Executive Vice President & COO, Voltas Limited
I really loved reading Timothy Chou's book Precision. He has done a great job of highlighting how the Internet of Things is different from the Internet of People something that becomes quite obvious after reading the book. He has precisely articulated the challenges that size and scale will create and has defined architecture for how the Internet of things will evolve. Beyond the IoT software, Tim has shared examples of how Internet of things is getting deployed in different industries. These examples are both illustrative and thought provoking. The book is excellent for those who are interested in learning more about the IoT and for those who are keen to build solutions for this trillion-dollar market.
Dr. Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman and MD of Persistent Systems
If you're in India consider buying the book at McGraw Hill, Amazon or FlipKart. If you want to purchase in bulk for your business or university connect with mohammad.khurshid@mheducation.com or hemant.jha@mheducation.com.
Stay tuned. The Chinese version is launching later this year.
This is great news, Timothy Chou ! Echo Anand Deshpande : the book really gives a clear and complete framework to think about true Internet of things at scale; the security, performance concerns, and the potential for cognitive approaches/learning in IOT. I'll have to buy the new edition to get your take on the Voltas story :-)
It's been an absolute pleasure working with you on this project professor Timothy Chou.
